Bright, One-Bedroom Apartment in Montparnasse, Paris:
This modernly designed one-bedroom rental is located on the third floor of a contemporary building. The building (unlike many in Paris) is equipped with an elevator.
Also for your convenience, the owners of the apartment live in the building and have proven to be very helpful to tenants.

The ancient Greeks believed “Mount Parnassus” to be the home of Apollo, the god of poetry, music, and beauty. In 17th century Paris, students began to gather on a small hill to recite poetry. The students nicknamed the area after the home of Apollo and soon the name morphed into Montparnasse.
Since its artistic inception, Montparnasse has continued to attract the truly creative. Patrons of the world-renowned cafes of Montparnasse have included writers such as Scott Fitzgerald and T.S. Eliot, painters such as Kandinsky and Modigliani, and directors such as Jean-Paul Sartre and Roman Polanski. In addition to cafes, the area boasts many shops, restaurants, and theaters.
Montparnasse is also home to the Tour Montparnasse, which was, at one time, the tallest office building in Europe.
Why is this one-bedroom rental a Hidden Gem?
The warm lighting combined with the modern colors and designs of the décor are standout features of the apartment. When you add the nearby cultural and artistic hotspot of Montparnasse, this one-bedroom rental is uncovered as a hidden gem.

“Have you ever been on a train that is delayed or stopped in a tunnel, and immediately passengers start to chat?” Roxanne Robertson asks New York Habitat bloggers. “This cordial atmosphere goes on for hours on the Nostalgia Train, minus the delays.” Ms. Robertson is the director of special projects at New York’s famed Transit Museum.
The Nostalgia Train consists of a series of six pre-World War II subway cars that ride along existing New York City subway tracks—it is the merging of vintage with modern.
The trip will take place just in time for Coney Island’s last summer before a projected major revitalization takes place. Plans are in the works for redevelopment on the southernmost tip of Brooklyn, a spot that The
Tickets are now available at $10 for children ages 3-17, $30 for adults and $25 for museum members. The Nostalgia Train’s August 12 and September 8 rides will accommodate up to 400 people each, and reservations are suggested but not required. “Although everyone has a guaranteed seat, a lot of people like to stand, to walk around, to talk to people,” Ms. Robertson said. Okay, first thing’s first … speed is key. The availability for any given apartment can change rapidly. Simply because your rental was available for the entire month when you arrived at your destination does not mean that it will remain that way through the end of your stay. Once the notion to extend your trip in Paris, New York, London, or the South of France pops into your head, get the necessary wheels in motion as soon as possible.
Four days ago, on July 14th, the French republic honored the continuing unification of the country and the anniversary of the storming of the Bastille.
Beginner and intermediate players alike were able to benefit from the Pétanque demonstration and class, while other sports enthusiasts competed in a stationary (and far easier) Tour de France.
Keeping with tradition, New York Habitat agents were available to answer questions and meet our current apartment renters, as well as potential clients. Visitors to our booth walked away with useful knowledge and gifts!
While neither of these theaters are standing today, Shoreditch has since become a breeding ground for galleries, studios, and workspaces. It was the lure of cheap rent that attracted scores of artists to the area during the early 1990s.
Shoreditch, located in the East End district of London, is centered around a triangle formed by Old Street, Great Eastern Street and Shoreditch High Street. It is on Old Street and nearby Curtain Road that the largest concentration of clubs, pubs, and restaurants can be found.
