New York Habitat Blog Home

Over the past few decades New York has undergone more transformations than perhaps any other American city. At the heart of the city’s urban renaissance is Brooklyn. Brooklyn has gone from a baby-booming suburbia in the 1960s to a deteriorating afterthought in the 1980s to what it is today: A prideful conglomeration of charming low-rise architecture, countless authentic cultures and a decidedly unpretentious personality. Brooklyn is now drawing tourists that venture beyond the Brooklyn Bridge into the artistic enclaves and ethnic neighborhoods that define the borough. New York Habitat accommodations go far beyond Manhattan’s borders–most often into New York’s most interesting borough, Brooklyn.

I think renting an apartment in Brooklyn offers you more advantages in terms of price and space than in the center of manhattan, and it allows you to discover the authentic New York

Makes me think of the beautiful Brooklyn Central Library at Grand Army Plaza and the free literary events always held there. The prices in Park Slope cafes, stores, and bars are so worth it, and the culture is all its own!

Brooklyn, is a great option for those traveling to New York City. Not only does it have more affortable housing it also has great restaurants and shops. Another very important factor is that Brooklyn is not as over populated as Manhattan. But if you still would like to take a stroll around the city; Manhattan is just a shot subway ride away from brookly.
