The Macy’s 4th of July fireworks show is not only a New York event, it is an American Tradition.

The Macy’s 4th of July fireworks show, can be seen over the Hudson River and is the nation’s largest display of pyrotechnics.

Each year, the Macy’s 4th of July fireworks display has a theme, this year it is American Harmony. The fireworks will be choreographed to the music, representing the nations musical voice. The show will last 26 minutes and will display over 40,000 shells from all over the world. The fireworks will be set off from six barges on the Hudson River, and will reach over a 1000 feet in the air allowing the show to be seen from a distance.
