corporate relocation service londonNew York Habitat London is inaugurating it Corporate Relocation Service Unit specially designed to serve those who are looking for an expedited apartment rental process.

Our London division began in 2002 and has steadily increased in scope since then to cover nearly 500 unique properties. Our distinctive positioning in the London market has made our operations well tailored to offer corporate rentals through our agency.

The Corporate Relocation Services Unit is different from our typical service in the way that it works. Clients that are interested in working with the Corporate Relocation Service Unit are asked to pay a ?250 fee to begin their apartment search.

The agent will then work to find apartments within our listings that meet your desired location, budget range and size. In additional to the standard search the agent would also contact other brokers, property managers and real estate professionals to find other possible solutions. Once the best options have been found the agent would schedule a time when as many as 10 apartment options could be viewed in one day.

After the search process is completed the agent would consult with you to determine which options best met your needs and would begin to draw up the necessary booking documents. If you decided to make a booking using the Corporate Relocation Services Unit the fee would be two weeks rent less the ?250 pre-paid fee.

If time is a concern we can help to ensure that the booking is competed in just a few days.

This service is especially well suited to busy business executives where time is limited, relocating families who need a specific accommodation and individuals looking for a more detailed apartment search.

So, if you are looking to work with the best team in London to find a furnished apartment contact Charles Rearden at +44 (20) 7953 3996 or charles.rearden@nyhabitat.com.

Great Outdoors AustraliaNew York Habitat is known as one of the hidden gems in New York for finding a short- term furnished apartment rental or bed and breakfast accommodation. With tourism continuing to increase in New York to over 44 million visitors in 2006 and an expected 45.5 million visitors in 2007, the task of finding reasonable priced accommodations is becoming more and more difficult. New York Habitat with its multilingual staff and 18 years of experience in the New York market is well suited to helping people find the perfect place to maximize their experience in New York.

Since we are still an unknown service to many people we are particularly grateful when we receive a favorable media report and like to share these with our clients and owners. In Australia we were featured in a segment on the show The Great Outdoors. The show talks about traveling to New York and renting an apartment rather then staying in a hotel. The conclusion is that renting an apartment especially through New York Habitat is one of the best ways to experience New York like a real New Yorker.

New York Habitat has been working with 1000’s of students during its 17 years in business and in recent years has developed packages specifically targeting groups of students as well. Because of the incredible demand for our services we have created a specific division within the company, New York Habitat Academics, to handle these requests.

The mission of this division is to help students, professors and academic institutions find furnished housing in Paris, New York, London and The South of France. With the launch of a dedicated webpage http://www.nyhabitat.com/student-housing all of the different services offered by the division are explained in one area.

The student page of the Academics website explains in detail our offerings to individual students looking for accommodations. http://www.nyhabitat.com/student-housing/student.html

The academic institution page gives information about the programs we have specifically tailored to the needs of schools, which are sending groups of students to Paris and New York. http://www.nyhabitat.com/student-housing/academic-institution.html

As a special offer for students booking an apartment with New York Habitat Academics division through January 1st 2007 we will be offering 10% off of the standard agency fees to students, professors and other members of academic institutions presenting a valid school issued ID. Mention discount code “Academic Blog”.

For more information about these programs e-mail academics@nyhabitat.com or call (212) 255-8018 and ask for the Academics Division

A big thank you to all our customers, visitors, and apartment owners who visit our website and have made it so popular.

New York Habitat’s steady growth continues with requests for accommodations coming from all continents. Most of our clients come from Europe, Australia, and the United States. We’re delighted to welcome more and more short term apartment renters from Southeast Asia, India, and South America. We’ve even had a client from an Artic scientific station who needed a New York apartment rental during a conference!

Each day we try to anticipate your needs with rental accommodations and we work to integrate the technologies that we believe make a difference. With this in mind, we will explain in an upcoming post the new RSS feed capabilities of our website. (a great tool for apartment search updates and last minutes decision making).

Thank you again, and stay tuned!

P.S. Have suggestions for features you’d like to see on the site? Send us an email at blog@nyhabitat.com

Apartment rental is something you have already done or you are thinking of trying. You are already familiar with our website or may have recently discovered it. You saw one or several apartments that you like on our site, but you are still wondering whether your choice is a good one.

This scenario is very commonly shared and New York Habitat received many requests to view previous clients’ testimonials. This is now possible from our “Clients’ Testimonial” page and on some other places like our “Apartment Search” pages.

These testimonials are copies of the many emails we receive from our clients, either because they spontaneously chose to give us their feedback on their stay at the apartment they rented, or else because they replied to our survey email from our Customer Service.

Here is a sample email that we absolutely loved and that illustrates what New York Habitat is striving for: to make sure both our clients and owners get the best from their rental experience! Our Customer Service endeavors to improve the quality of our service and of the accommodations we represent. We are aware that to achieve this goal, the key factor is a successful rental in a comfortable apartment that meets your personal requirements.

David Asplin stayed over five weeks in a villa in Provence, France (PR- 409)
here is his testimonial

Dear New York Habitat,

I hesitate to write this note of evaluation. If you and the [owner] discover what a bit of heaven they have and the huge quality and space for such a reasonable cost, these owners and New York Habitat are likely to raise the price.

I am now in the Copenhagen airport on my way home to the states (today) after spending more than two months in Europe, including stays in 9 hotels, a monastery and the homes of two friends. This lovely spacious four bedroom home in Provence with swimming pool and large terrace, surrounded by flowers and well kept grounds was a spectacular buy (rental) and a place my wife and I and our family will never forget, the best of all our accommodations in Europe!!

First, [the owner] (who we never met, except online) were always so gracious and giving; they did everything they could to make our stay easy and free from problems. Indeed, I asked if I could pay to stay one more night than the contract stated. They said no problem, no charge! AND their on-site hostess (who lives four houses away) was charming, delightful and helpful with any little problem we encountered!

The house was spotless when we arrived; the linens and towels were in copious supply. A gift basket of wine and tapenade was there for us from the [owners]; the Kitchen had almost every utensil we needed to cook, dishware for our family reunion meal for 10 people. The gas grill on the terrace worked fine for many enjoyable meals under the umbrella on the terrace by the pool.
The house had four sets of French doors opening onto the terrace (one onto balcony); yet it cooled off wonderfully at night (no air conditioning – this is France).

I could go on and on. The house is set in a gated-guarded closed community of single homes, condominiums and two hotels set on a Pierre et Vacances golf course and resort with splendidly landscaped grounds, large swimming pools (at extra cost) and a small village of three restaurants, grocery, hairdresser, tourist office, wine shop and the main reception for the hotel.
There too we were treated with great graciousness and we enjoyed many meals at the “Domain” restaurants.

Before you advertise this home to the world go there yourselves!!

With many thanks to New York Habitat for assisting me in finding this rental, I am.

Very sincerely,

David R. Asplin

We still remember the time when we were taking pictures with film, then scanning them, and finally archiving them manually. We won’t mention that we delivered these photographs to potential customers by mail… yes, snail mail!

Since then the digital age has helped us with accelerated cataloguing. On a daily basis we sometimes handle the creation of 10 new apartments which leads to some 200 to 500 pictures (some villas in the South of France have the most number of pictures). Editing, selecting and sorting this volume of information completes the process.

So here we are! More than 60 gigabytes of photographic data built over the years from simple studios in New York and Paris to beautiful grandiose Mas in Provence or in the French Riviera.

Interior designers, who are frequent returning visitors to our website, find inspiration as they discover the different styles of New York, Paris, London and the South of France.
Our photos of rental properties often assist them in their research and planning.

Thank you to all our owners who have helped us assembling our rental property database!
