Note that I used 3* as 'average' as described in the 'Review' process.
The flat's nice enough, and in a great location. The landlords are mostly helpful and friendly.
The flat is furnished and fitted a bit piecemeal. It could be lifted to a very nice apartment with simple things like nice matching linen, matching towels, removing unnecessary items (shower shield in the *bedroom*, vacuum cleaner in the wardrobe), having a kettle and toaster, matching crockery, simple instructions for the incomprehensible oven, some sort of organisation in the kitchen cupboards.

We enjoyed our stay.

I think this flat represents superb value for money.

In this case, for a couple with a young child where one parent is working within walking distance and the other can take the child for amazing walks in the centre of London - to the River Thames, the Tower of London, the rooftop gardens at 20 Fenchurch Street, etc.

For £60 per night (plus electricity) for a couple and a young child you literally won't find a better deal within the Square Mile. Here you have two sets of brand new bed linen (perfect as this stay was for just one month) and two brand new pairs of towels. Add to that, unlimited high speed wi-fi, a landline for incoming calls, a washer dryer, a fridge freezer, cooking facilities (sorry the previous tenant had put the kettle and toaster in the cupboard under the TV and our cleaner hadn't returned them to the kitchen worktop), a good size TV with multiple channels, a good size double bed and a bedroom with loads of storage, central heating in every room including the bathroom, constant hot water, double glazing throughout and 35 square metres of living space in a City conservation area where you are just yards (across a pedestrianised alleyway) from Wren's beautiful church of St Mary-at-Hill.

I have enjoyed my stay at this address. They are currently working on refurbishing the main door and entrance foyer area of the building, which will improve first impressions of the building and apartment choice made under NY habitat. After settling in, I have enjoyed staying here and it has become my home away from home. It has been a wonderful experience and the location has excellent -- close to buses and a tube station. The managers have always been available and helpful. I would recommend this flat to anyone applying in the future.

The apartment has seen better days. Both the apartment and the stairwell
are in dire need of renovation. Due to the old age of its construction, the building is not sound proof and sound travels freely throughout. The apartment was turned over to me in an unclean
condition and it was not very well equipped (drinking glasses,
curtains). The landlords were always accommodating and friendly.

We strongly disagree that the apartment is in dire need of renovation.
The stairwell suffered from two different areas of water ingress in 2014 (from neighbouring buildings) and the walls on several floors were affected. It is a long and expensive process for us to strip back the plaster, repair it and repaint it, so it's something that we can only do a bit at a time.
As we're doing this, we're taking the opportunity to update the lighting system throughout the stairwell - this will add time to the whole process of making the stairwell attractive again; but we make no apology for that as it's ultimately in the best interest of all concerned (and most tenants, especially more experienced ones, understand and appreciate costs and therefore time involved).
We disagree that the apartment was unclean and not very well equipped. We were in the process of ordering and putting up new curtains as the tenancy began; it's not always possible to align these things perfectly. It took something like three weeks before all the fittings arrived (and the contractor was able to come round). The curtains were for the living room (rather than the bedroom) so it wasn't a serious issue not to have them for that period of time (in our opinion)

Nice, comfy little flat set smack dab in the heart of The City, near EVERYTHING, the location was unbeatable. Unit was in great shape and definitely well represented in the photos.

The landlord was incredibly friendly and responsive to all of my questions/needs and always willing to go the extra mile to help out. It was a perfect place to land and was one of the easiest dealings I have EVER had with a vacation rental property.

I'd like to stay there again when I visit London next. If you are looking for a simple, well kept, reasonably priced flat and want an amazing location, check this place out.

This apartment was a wonderful place to live for the past year. The location is wonderful. Extremely helpful landlord who lives in the building.

Overall, it was a great place to live in London. No complaints whatsoever!
