London Apartment - Studio in Hampstead (LN-24)

They could not have been better hosts. From the day I arrived until I left they were so warm, accommodating, and immediately made me feel at home. The apartment is absolutely beautiful and Jane thought of everything you could possibly need during your stay. Jane even bought some groceries for me for when I arrived. The garden is stunning and it honestly feels like you're in a movie looking out and seeing the birds from the window. If I could stay there again I would in a heartbeat. I am honestly jealous of their next guests!

Jane and Elliott could not have been more welcoming. They even stocked the fridge and cupboard with groceries and the kitchen with cleaning materials which I did not expect. They took a genuine, but not nosy, interest in what I am interested in and made suggestions on gyms, running clubs etc. They were generous in allowing me the use of their garden (which is beautiful) and although I didn't use it that often, it was wonderful to even entertain my son and daughter-in-law in the garden as well as my best friend on two occasions.

Myself and my partner moved over to London from Ireland and without a doubt, we can say that this apartment was an amazing place to stay for our first move to London. It had all the necessary amenities, the owners went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and they were very accommodating by helping us out without any questions we had. The owners really pride themselves in getting to know the individuals that they are accommodating and this really showed. We believe this place is really a hidden gem in London and would highly recommend staying here. We will definitely be back!

I travelled from Washington DC to London on 28 July 2020 in order to spend a few months with my partner, who lives in London, but decided to rent a separate apartment as I was also teleworking and needing to make many work calls late at night (i.e. during DC time zone working hours) that would potentially disturb my partner while sleeping had I stayed with him instead.

So I settled on Jane's rental apartment, which lies on a quiet leafy street in a charming neighbourhood. One of the first things I loved about the place, in the Covid context we are in, is that it has a separate entrance into the apartment and one enters directly from the outdoors, i.e. no need to walk through indoor hallways shared by multiple people, as is common for apartments. Also a big value of this rental related to the pandemic era: Since UK rules demanded that US visitors had to quarantine for the first 14 days, it made all the difference to me that there was a private outdoors patio in which I could spend time while honouring the quarantine rules, so I didn't have to coop up indoors for 2 weeks.

The apartment is super-cosy! There is tonnes of light that floods through multiple windows throughout. It was spotless clean, and the kitchen is spacious and is a separate room from the living area. The place has everything one needs: a dishwasher, a washing machine that functions also as a dryer, a nice big bathtub, a sofa that can be pulled out into a big bed, and all manners of appliances and equipments for cooking and dining. I was perfectly comfortable working on my laptop for many hours every day at the expandable table in the living room. And the view from the window onto Jane's impeccable oasis of a garden created a serene ambience.

Jane is a warm and friendly host who went the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable and happy throughout my time there! She furthermore had great tips for where to eat and what to do in the neighbourhood.

I would strongly recommend this rental to anyone visiting--it's really pretty much perfect! And I myself would go back in a heartbeat if something brought me back to London with a need to rent a place.

Excellent value for money. The apartment is in a very quiet area and located next to the city center and the subway. Besides, the owners are very nice and make sure that everything goes well. I recommend very highly.

To the owners of this London apartment: I was definitely satisfied with your cosy studio which met my expectations and had everything I needed. Its location was perfect for me. Quiet and safe as well as very practical in terms of shops, banks, post office etc.. Good transport links too, not only with the Jubilee Line but also with the Overground. The city centre was reachable fairly quickly. Having you and Elliott living just above was reassuring in case anything happened. However, even though the studio is attached to your house, I still felt very independent and free as a tenant. You were available for me as well as discreet and respectful to privacy which was greatly appreciated.

I definitely recommend this peaceful apartment

I used your service in 2008 and stayed in the north London flat. The apartment was absolutely immaculate. Despite it being close to the tube station and grocery stores, etc., it was in a quiet, green, tree-lined street. Having the hosts above in case of emergency was also a nice, comforting feeling. The owners were incredibly helpful and gracious and explained how to use the boiler, etc. It was a very well-laid out flat, but my favourite things were the little touches- the strawberry jam and toast and gorgeous flowers upon my arrival. Thank you so much!

The apartment in London was very good. I was pleased staying there for three months.
