Welcome to central London! This period walk-up building is located on Coleherne Road between Old Brompton Road and Redcliffe Square in the borough of Earl’s Court. The boroughs of West Kensington, South Kensington, and Knightsbridge are all within easy reach from here. The building is protected by a security system; this 2nd floor (3rd in US) apartment itself has an audio intercom system as well.
This two bedroom London apartment is fully furnished and comes in at a spacious 80 square meters (861 square feet) across a living area, dining room, the aforementioned two bedrooms, a separate kitchen, and one full bathroom. In the living area, you can relax and unwind among the working (gas-operated) fireplace and sofa; the sofa itself can convert to a double bed, should you need the extra sleeping space. There is also a dining table with seating for six. The separate kitchen is well-equipped to meet your meal preparation needs, with an electric oven, gas range, refrigerator, a washer/dryer for your laundry needs, and even a toaster. The master bedroom has a double bed, while the second bedroom has a single trundle bed; both bedrooms have built-in cupboards for your convenience. The bathroom is equipped with a bath and shower. If you happen to visit the area in the winter, there is gas central heating to keep you nice and warm during those cooler months, should you need it.
The borough of Earls Court is central to London and easily accessible via a variety of transport options; the underground station (subway) of Earl’s Court itself is only a half a kilometer (0.3 miles) or so to the north up Earl’s Court Road; the West Brompton station is about the same distance away to the west, giving you several options. There are also several bus stops within a one-street radius of this apartment. Earls Court is well known for its two major exhibition centers; the Earl’s Court Exhibition Centre is just down the road, about 0.5 km/0.3 miles to the west, and the Olympia Centre is a bit further to the north, about 1.6 km/1 mile away from this apartment. If you’re ready to see the sights of London, there’s plenty to do nearby before you hit the underground tube stations or bus stops (Earl's Court and Fulham Broadway are closest)!
If you’re in the mood for some museums, there’s three only 3.2 km (2 miles) away to the northeast – the Natural History Museum, the Science Museum, and the Victoria & Albert Museum. These museums are right next to the Imperial College, which itself borders on the huge green spaces of Kensington Gardens/Hyde Park, where kings used to get their royal hunt on. The park is about 2.9 km/1.8 miles from this apartment, and is huge – it’s about 2.25 km/1.4 miles wide! For local delicacies, you’d have to look no further than Old Brompton Road, just one street up and no more than a minute’s walk or so to the north; there are eight restaurants alone within a one-street radius of that intersection. There are also plenty of shops up and down Old Brompton Road, and you can always take s trip over to the famous Harrods department store, about 2.9 km/1.8 miles away to the west. This two bedroom London apartment is close to just about everything and is sure to be an oasis of relaxation for your stay.

We are very happy with the apartment. The only issue is to do with the maintenance on the ground floor where the bins are stored. The bins smell really bad and are teeming with insects. On our floor, there are flies and odours in the bedroom coming from the ground floor due to its lack of maintenance. I tried to get in touch with one of your agents but haven't heard from him yet. Thank you |

Good location, nice exterior, great layout of the rooms, nice flooring, stairwell is worn, several household appliances do not work, toilet flusher could be improved upon, hot water heater gave out towards the end of the stay - after that, there was no more warm water or heat for several weeks in the winter, furniture is old, broken and sort-of random mix and match, the windows' insulation is weak, sound proofing could be better: the neighbor can easily be heard (and understood) through the ceiling. Our contact at NY Habitat was helpful. |
