In a prime location for shopping, leisure and sight seeing, this two bedroom vacation rental is located just off the famous Strand Street. Discover what London has to offer and stay in this vacation rental located on a humble cul-de-sac street in Westminster, London. The apartment is situated of the 3rd floor (considered 4th by Americans) of a period building, which is a beautiful contrast from the interior modern décor. With a picturesque view of the Millennium Wheel, the building is secured with a high-level security system and has a temperamental lift (we can't guarantee service).

The open kitchen and living space allows light to flood the apartment. There are hardwood floors throughout the entire apartment, as well as top quality kitchen appliances. The fireplace creates a cozy atmosphere at night and the deep soak bathtub is perfect for relaxation after a long day of touring London.

Luckily for you, this location is excellent for a vacation in London. For the entertainment aspect, multiple theaters, such as Adelphi Theatre, New Players Theatre and Savoy theatre are all found on the Strand, just 2 blocks down the street (100m). The British plays and musical are quite popular and definitely worth seeing. As for the eateries, restaurant options are endless! For those who enjoy a great steakhouse, you can walk to Gaucho Grill, less than 3/4 of a mile away (about 1.2km) and take in the great ambiance. Hazuki sushi is about 3 blocks away (approx. 250m) but there are many more great restaurant options within the vicinity of this two bedroom vacation rental. If you prefer a home cooked meal, a Tesco supermarket is a little over 1/4 of a mile away (500m) where you can pick up your own groceries and prepare a meal using the full kitchen of appliances that this accommodation has to offer!

For museum lovers, you must check out the National Gallery in Trafalgar Square (0.2 miles/400m away), as well as the London Transport Museum in the heart of Covent Garden, which is less than half a mile away (about 550m). Covent Garden is a great place to relax at a pub or even go shopping. If you want to soak in the London sun, the Victoria Embankment Gardens are practically around the corner from the apartment (.1 mi/200m), or you can check out the Jubilee Gardens just over the Waterloo Bridge. This vacation rental is an ideal location for you to submerge yourself in British culture and really get a chance to live like a Londoner.

The Charing Cross underground station is quite convenient, just over a quarter mile away (450m), and the Embankment stop is even closer (.1 mi/200m), allowing you to explore the rest of Westminster and London!

Accommodation Rental: 6 days

Location is exactly what I wanted...and is why, despite some reservations about the apartment itself, I
would happily stay there again. Owner / manager were VERY responsive. Apartment is satisfactorily furnished, everything needed was there and actually worked.
Reservation: This place is not cheap, yet the "decoration" is seriously under what one can expect. Someone simply needs to go through it and dress the place up. Again, I'd stay there again.
