This two bedroom apartment has a large living room with a good size balcony looking directly onto the river Thames with great views across the river towards St Paul's Cathedral. The living room has Sky satellite TV as well as regular freeview cable and WIFI internet connection. At the other end of the living room is the dining table with seating for four. The kitchen is separate but adjacent to the living room and is equipped with electric oven and electric hob. You will find flexible sleeping accommodations in this apartment: The master bedroom has a king size bed and built-in wardrobes while the second bedroom has two single beds that can be pushed together to form a king size bed. Location, Location, Location! Short walk to two tube stations, grocery 1 block, pub is 50 steps away. Amazing views! We didn't spend much time in the apartment as we were busy touring the city. We only cooked breakfast in every morning in the modern kitchen. Beds were comfortable, towel were abundant and new. Loved the heated floor in the bathroom. The lobby desk employee was very pleasant and had the daily newspaper. Easy transition getting keys.

There was quite a bit of noise at night as this is a heavy foot traffic area along the waterfront. We were so exhausted by nighttime, we could sleep through almost anything though. The bedroom with the twin beds window does not fully close so we had to put a couple of coins under the lock to seal it shut. The windows could use a cleaning but it may be a moot point with all the construction in the close vicinity.

One item that would really help renters is an instruction book, especially for how to use the TV. We also had a problem working the cooktop until we found that the switch hidden by the microwave was switched off.

I would 100% stay here again. Owner responds very quickly to emails

Hi Leslie
I am pleased to see that you enjoyed staying in the apartment. Thankyou for bringing to my attention the window in the bedroom that doesn't close it is being fixed as we speak.
The switch for the hot plates in the kitchen is compulsory due to Uk health and safety rulings. There s an operational manual for the tv in the cabinet below I have asked Steve to put it in a place where it is more visible.
Hope to see you in london again soon it is a special place

The week we were staying in the apartment, it was very cold out. It wasn't clear when we arrived how to turn on the heat- eventually we figured out that we had to call someone. Also, the condition of the hallways could be improved.

Hi John
Thank you for your comments regarding your stay at Rivercourt. I have looked into hall comment and `i believe they were doing repairs on a part of the hall and had removed one of the wall panels leaving exposed wires. This is certainly not the norm.
Regarding the central heating one takes it for granted that everyone knows that you can turn the units on and off at the bottom of the panels - I have now got Steve to write an instruction in our book to advise anyone who is not familiar with their workings.
I am happy that you enjoyed your stay in London and hope to see you again sometime

We stayed 11 nights at this apartment during August 2017. The location was perfect along the Thames River! We were walking distance to the Blackfriars Station (to go anywhere in London), The Waterloo Train Station (for our excursion to Windsor Castle), the London Eye, and any Southwark attraction (Shakespeare's Globe, Tate Modern & pub walks). The sleeping accommodations worked well for our family because we had two older boys who shared a bedroom but had their own beds. The king bed in the main bedroom was low to the ground but comfortable. Closets were adequate for hang-ups. The kitchen had everything that we needed but we only ate breakfast in the flat. The washing machine and dryer were one combined unit. They were adequate but we only did a couple loads of wash (it was vacation after all). The shower worked well (lots of pressure) but the drain did back up. We contacted the owner and she immediately had her maintenance person contact us. We were comfortable with him coming in the flat while we were out and he cleared the drain. No drain issues after that. We ended up arriving back while he was inside and he was very nice. The concierge was located in the building across the street and was helpful. I did get a 2nd key from him. I thought the price was reasonable. We researched our options and renting a flat was the best choice for our family. Overall, we had an excellent stay and would return on another trip to London.

Hi Alan I am happy that you enjoyed your stay in London as at one stage you didn't think you would be able to make the trip. The boys must have enjoyed all the activity along the South Bank.
Steve our maintenance man is very personable and chatty and is too happy to be able to help. I am pleased that the blockage was sorted out promptly.
We certainly would look forward to hosting you again in London

There were some very dusty areas in the apartment and I had to clean the microwave because it was dirty and the sink was in bad conditions.

The apartment is not bad overall, but windows have to be changed, as well as the double bed. Positive things: the apartment is very nice, very well located, the bathrooms have been renovated and the bedrooms are ok, although the closets would need to be changed (I really liked the bed lines and the towels, really white and fresh).

The concierge was very kind and the staff helped us in everything we needed.

Overall, we had a good experience. We will come back to this apartment.

Hi there Monica this is the first complaint that i have had about cleanliness and I will address this with the housekeeper. I am presently in London to upgrade the kitchen and the sink will be replaced as well as all the appliances.Unfortunately there is quite a bit of building activity so there is dust.Yes the location is exceptional.

It was our 7th trip to London and undoubtedly the best. We immediately felt at ease in this apartment in which we stayed during 7 days for Christmas.
It is ideally located to visit London, on foot, on the bus and with the underground, transportation is literally at your doorstep. Supermarket is 100 meters away. The view of the Thames and the opposite riverside is beautiful, sunsets and sunrises are wonderful (the weather was indeed splendid, no raindrop).
The apartment is very well equipped (the espresso coffee machine should be fixed though), we were able to cook our turkey and Christmas dinner. It was very comfortable. Our big teenagers had a good rest and rather stayed inside in the warm instead of coming with us to walk a long time along the Thames, but they really enjoyed the vicinity with museums and parks.

Bedding is also perfect and the provided linen is really appropriate.

Communication with the landlady was also very easy and pleasant. She enabled us to get in earlier in the apartment and to get in touch with the housekeeper (also very nice) in order to leave our luggage and to fully enjoy our last day. We thank her and send her our best wishes for 2017.

In short, a great and revitalizing stay which enabled us to end 2016 on a high note. This experience is to be renewed and shared.

This apartment is ideally located. The surface area and the view are excellent. Household linen is impeccable. Beds are comfortable and all the appliances and crockery are provided... Things to be improved: kitchen needs to be cleaner (more thorough cleaning in the drawers). But generally speaking, it is the perfect rental. We already spent 2 weeks in this apartment during summer 2 years ago and we rented it again this time without a doubt. If we have to stay in London again, I will definitely rent this apartment.

I stayed in the apartment from July 19 to 27, 2015. It was a vacation for my mother, adult daughter and myself. It was our first time to London and I was concerned that my Mom (age 76) have a pleasant place to spend time when we were not out and about as I anticipated that she would get tired at times. This apartment was the perfect fit for us. In fact, the comfort and the view was so pleasant that we spent more time in the apartment than we ever would have any hotel room, no matter how luxurious.

The location is absolutely perfect for touring London. You can get from Heathrow with just one tube exchange (use Green Park with the available lifts if you are bringing luggage or otherwise need to avoid the stairs). Finding it was a breeze, even for people completely unfamiliar with London. The balcony was just magnificent. The Thames is a coin toss away and the Blackfriars bridge is beautiful, night and day. And St. Paul's is in the background. We would have paid a pretty price to have drinks on that balcony just one evening, and we had it every night! The Borough market (now open for full market on Wed as well as Thurs to Sat) is a short walk or a close bus ride. The National Theatre and the Tate Museum are very easy walks either up or down the Queens Walk by the Thames, accessed just behind the building. The Blackfriars tube station is just over the bridge -- and here's a tip, if it's raining, you can use an Oyster card to go through the Blackfriars Train station and walk along the platform to the north side of the river and as long as you immediately get on the tube to somewhere, your passage from Blackfriars' train to tube station is free. Works the same the other direction too, if you pass through immediately after getting off the tube. Just swipe the card at both ends.

Having access to a kitchen was also a wonderful boon. There are numerous grocery stores pretty close and a pharmacy literally across the street. The kitchen was well fixed for cooking and serving pieces -- plenty of skillets and sauce pans in all sizes, a colander to drain pasta, oven, cooktop(hob), French press for coffee, an electric kettle, an espresso maker (we didn't use this one), toaster and microwave oven. We saved alot by making our own meals instead of eating out every one. It was really wonderful to have such a nice place to fix our own cocktails and snacks each evening. There are some spices in the cabinet. The only item I brought along from home was a steamer insert that fit the largest sauce pan for steaming veggies and I was glad to have brought a vegetable peeler as there was not one there. The only thing missing for us Americans was more ice trays.

Having two full bedrooms and a bath and half was wonderful for use three ladies. The beds are very comfortable and there were plenty of extra towels and linens available. The rooms have airconditioning, which we used during warm days. The bedrooms are quite roomy with plenty of storage for hanging clothes.

The dining room is ample size for four and could sit 6 in a pinch. The furniture is very nice, very comfortable and the decor is pleasing. We could not have been happier to have stayed. We felt that we got a tremendous value for our money.

We did not miss having no hotel personnel to assist us because we did alot of research in advance and the wifi worked great in the apartment, so we had the benefit of all that online assistance. The lifts in the building worked fine the entire time we were there. The only issue we had was intermittent hot water being too hot and inconsistent. We never found out what that was about. It made for some interesting showers for us, but it was a tiny issue given how much we enjoyed the rest of our stay.

On a last note, Ms. Ross, the owner was spectacularly responsive each and every time we reached out to her. She was immensely helpful and patient with our questions. We had some trouble at our bank getting the money transfer done from the US and she was super patient and very quick to respond to messages.

We feel very lucky to have found this wonderful rental for our stay and would absolutely not want to go anywhere else when we go back. And, we will tell all our friends too!

Fantastic view was the highlight of our trip, the flat overall was extremely nice. So nice, sometimes we had to force ourselves out the door to see the rest of London. The pedestrian walkway (can't recall name) along the river in both directions was an unexpected treat. We appreciated all the pots and pans and dishes and we cooked in often. Minor complaint about air conditioner not working well in twin bed room. I have informed owner already and I'm sure she will take care of it because she obviously does maintain the flat to high standards. The construction in the area was a minor nuisance and the building itself is not very attractive from outside (hence 4 stars in that category), but once inside the flat, it was paradise. The concierge at Rennie Court was very helpful.

Hi Henri thank you for the lovely picture of you in my apartment. I am sorry that you had difficulty in getting the key. There is construction going on in the area at the moment which makes it difficult to find if there are trucks lining up to offload. It was one of the hottest weeks of the year in Britain so I would think that the windows were all open as the apartment has double glazing so it should block out most of the construction noise.

I am aware that one of the Italian leather couches has some wear, and I will hopefully replace it in November when I get a chance to get there. I will also ask Hylton for a full report when he goes there in
August.

All the other furniture is in good shape, dining room chairs, seatpads were recovered not so long ago , bedheads also reupholstered..

The noise from the building was minimal when I was there in February and is very well controlled. They only build from about 8:00 until 6:00 daily and Saturday mornings they only do deliveries etc.

The buildings are due to be completed in 2014.

The location is wonderful for exploring the city, right in the center (Blackfriars Bridge - between Westminster Bridge and London Tower). From the window, across the river, you can see St Paul's Cathedral's dome as if it was in the living the room.

The service from NYHabitat team was excellent from all points of view. Also, Janis, the hostess, was very nice and cordial, and was attentive to every detail at all times.

Good morning Jeanne-France from a sunny Cape Town, I was very pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay at Rivercourt and that importantly you received a warm welcome.I actually live in Cape Town and was last at Rivercourt in February 2012 when I upgraded and checked the equipment in general.

I was sorry to hear that the hoover and that some of the kitchenware was disappointing but then I do not have any control over what was there in February and what was still there in December.

I have recently returned from London and have upgraded the kitchen , steamcleaned the carpets and made sure that the hoover is in good working condition.

I hope we will once again see you at Rivercourt to enjoy its wonderfull skyline.

This rental unit's location was extraordinary. The unit's layout is perfect for two couples or a family of four. Nice that the bedrooms are situated at one end and the living/eating area are situated with a view of the Thames and London skyline.

The unit was a little tired looking and in need of updating, but was more than adequate. I would highly recommend this unit to others and will.

Thr only feedback I have had is that these guests were the nicest people that have ever stayed in the Rivercourt, so you can be sure that they would be welcomed back at any time

We loved the huge size and the location and it's accompanying view of the River Thames. We ate on the balcony as much as possible. There was more than we needed in equipment and facilities, even some basic food stuff (salt sugar and the like ).

The staff at the counter and John who looked after the apartment for the owner were great. He was easily contactable by phone and answered.

We would stay again and believe it was good value.

We could not imagine a finer place to stay. This beautiful apartment has our highest recommendation. We had our two teenage children with us and there was plenty of room for everyone. The view of the river was a treat. Plenty of blankets, towels and cooking utensils.

Apartment had easy access and was quiet. The location worked very well, convenient to the subway and bus services.

Everything was perfect and we will stay there again next time we go to London. Two thumbs up!

We were completely satisfied with this apartment. The view alone was enough to make this apartment special; the location was fantastic; the flat had all necessary amenities. I can't say enough good things about this flat. We would stay here again with no hesitations.

We chose this apartment because of the view and the value, and we were not disappointed in either case. It was a pleasure to relax in this comfortable apartment and enjoy the view across the thames and blackfriars bridge, including having breakfast on the patio every morning.

The kitchen was well outfitted, and the furnishings, linens, etc. were all top notch. We did have some trouble figuring out how to get our clothes out of the washer/dryer combo, but the ready availability of the manuals soon solved that. The location is a bit on the edge of the action, and the closest tube--southwark--isn't on the most convenient line (jubilee), but when blackfriars tube is finished being remodeled later in the year, the tube will be even more convenient .....

All in all, we loved the place and will be recommending it.

We loved the apartment and its location. The view from the balcony over the river is fantastic. The decor is one that made us feel very comfortable. The TV in the living room is nicer than the one in the pictures of the apartment, but neither bedroom had a TV. We didn't miss them. The internet connection never dropped us out. We found no coffee maker, but the electric kettle boiled our water quickly.

The hand shower in the bathroom had good water pressure and plenty of hot water, but there was nowhere to hang it up. Phone numbers for a local contact were in the apartment but we never had a problem or an issue that we needed to call about.

We just had a really great time and would love to stay there again.

very pleasant vacation rental with access to subway stations (despite Blackfriars station shut down in 2011 due to works), good visits and grocery stores. Beautiful view, right at the foot of the Thames. Caretaker and cleaning staff helpful; information booklet for tourists...

nothing to complain about... to do again as London has many wonders yet to be discovered!

The only feedback I had was from John the caretaker who phoned me in Cape Town to advise that the sguest toile was leaking and requested a plumber. There is a in house plumber so the problem was fixed in a couple of hours.

He advised that apart from that Valerie was enjoying her stay.

Very nice London apartment, 180 degree view over River Thames and its North side.

A few pieces of equipment were a little difficult to manage with, e.g. shower, sink, cookware, but no major inconvenience. We can really recommend this apartment.

The [London] apartment is very nice, the skyline is incredible and the situation is very central. The [...] apartment needs a few more dishes and glasses, but the bedrooms and the lounge-dining room are large. The apartment is perfect to visit the city.

I thought the apartment was lovely. Great location. Incredible view.

The instructions on where to pick up the key could have been a little more precise. We spend 2-3 minutes wandering around looking for the "porters desk" across the street. Maybe send a PDF with a map?

The apartment's Internet connection was nonfunctional, despite our extended efforts to resolve the problem (including calling tech support). It would be quite useful to fix that.

All in all, the apartment met our expectations, and we were pleased.
