One bedroom in a townhouse to share
|
There are one-bedroom suites on the third floor of a historic townhouse in the Morningside Heights neighborhood of Manhattan. Both Morningside Park and Central Park are just a few minute walk from the house. This apartment is completely modern with a recently completed renovation, which upgraded the entire interior.
The entrance is into the owner's first floor apartment but the stairs are immediately to the right. By climbing to the top of the stairs, you reach the upstairs kitchen, which is shared by the two suited on the top floor. The kitchen is completely redone and includes a four-burner stove a full set of dishes, pot, pans and utensils. There is a sink and plenty of cabinet space.
There is a bedroom located at each end of the hallway. The back apartment faces the garden and is furnished with antique style furniture. It features a queen-sized bed. This room also gets plenty of light from its southern exposure towards the garden. There is a dresser in this room as well as large hanging closet. There is a private bathroom connected to this room that includes a tub, shower and brightly light vanity. The room has an air conditioner and carpeted floors.
The living room is not available to the guest.
The neighborhood has become popular because of its classic townhouses and convenience to midtown and lower Manhattan. The B, C trains provide service along Central Park West to 8th Avenue and 6th Avenue, and the 1,9 trains provides 7th Avenue service. There is shopping along Broadway. It is also just blocks away from Columbia University.
