This room for rent is in a two bedroom apartment located in the neighborhood of Boerum Hill, Brooklyn in New York City. The apartment is situated on the second floor of a walk-up brownstone townhouse.

The main entrance of the apartment is into the living room, which is furnished with a wrap-around sofa, a TV with cable connection, a dining table and 3 windows facing south onto the street. There is an air conditioning unit in the living room, and two fans can be provided upon requests for the bedroom guests during the summer. Wireless Internet is also accessible throughout the apartment.

The room itself (Bedroom 1 in photos and floorplan) is furnished with a double sized bed, 32" flat screen television with cable and Xbox access, a desk and a chair. There is also the convenience of a mini-fridge, a coffee maker. There is a closet in the room for storage space as well as a stereo for use. There is a balcony that can be accessed through a sliding glass door in the bedroom. Please note that the owners will also need access to the balcony at times, as well.

The owners have their own private bathroom in their bedroom, but the main bathroom will be shared when guests are in the apartment.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all of the necessary items to prepare a meal in the apartment.
