For your next visit to New York, be part of the vibrant heart of Harlem in this bed and breakfast located in a charming brownstone with a classic New York City feel! This bed and breakfast occupies the ground floor of a lovely five-story building (equivalent to the European four-story) and consists of a 240 sqm (22 sqf) bedroom with its private bathroom. Additionally there is a private entrance to this floor, so you will be able to enjoy your stay in NYC with a maximum of privacy!
The two northern exposed windows of the bedroom make the place very bright, and its decorative fireplace gives it a certain charm and perfectly harmonizes with the hardwood floors of the room. The bedroom features a queen size bed and two extra single beds can be added to provide additional sleeping arrangements for larger parties. For families, baby cots and toys can also be provided. The room has a well-sized closet and a dresser so you will have plenty of space to store your belongings, and to relax at night after a long day exploring the Big Apple there is a TV with cable access. WiFi internet and air conditioning are also available. You will have an exclusive access to the bathroom located on the same floor and featuring a bathtub/shower, sink and W/C.
Please note that there is a kitchen on this floor which is not available to renters.
Located at West 121st Street and Lenox Boulevard, this b & b is only four blocks away from Harlem's main thoroughfare at 125th Street, where you can shop at some of the numerous stores, catch a show at the famous Apollo Theater after a dinner at one of the many restaurants that this street is lined with. One more street north on 126th street is the world famous Sylvia's, a Zagat rated restaurant considered as a ''soul food institution'' and that has served celebrities such as President Obama and Caroline Kennedy! To maximize your stay in NYC, the owners of this B&B have also provided a booklet with tips and information in various languages. As you explore Harlem, experience Gospel music at one of Harlem's many churches such as the Abyssinian Baptist Church on West 136th Street. And if you have the chance to be in New York in August, don't miss the Urban World Film Festival or the Harlem Jazz & Music Festival with food tasting, art exhibits, concerts, street entertainment, sporting events and an auto show! For a place to relax with your family or friends, spreading a blanket or sheet down for a picnic is a wonderful way to enjoy Central Park, only 0.6 miles away (960 meters).
There is a lot to do and see in Harlem but you might still want to explore the rest of the city during your stay. To do this, take the 2 or 3 lines at the 125 Street / Lenox Avenue subway station or the B and C at 116 Street / 8 Avenue. These trains will take you all the way to lower Manhattan and even Brooklyn, through the Upper West Side, Times Square, the trendy Chelsea, the vibrant Greenwich Village and the Financial District!

Our trip to New York was good, we received hospitality and you have been kind, thanks for that. The studio has the advantage of offering greater independence through independent entrance. |
