Beautiful four bedroom / three bathroom three story townhouse with large garden to share. The house is located on the tree-lined street of Park Place, lined with historic brownstones. The owner donates a portion from her guest room income to local-to-global self-help community groups. Owner is a local community leader and active in many projects, on which guests are welcome to join in. Spanish and French are also spoken.
You can enter this house through the ground floor or the first floor. The owner sleeps on the third floor. A longer-term bedroom is for rent of the third floor. The owner and the longer-term tenant share a full bath on the third floor. The common space (kitchen and living room) is on the ground floor.
Bedroom #2 is found on the second floor, and has a queen bed, a ceiling fan and this room receives lots of light. It has a half bathroom on the same floor and shares the full bathroom on the ground floor.
Bedroom#1 is located on the ground floor and features a queen-sized bed and a single bed and is fully furnished. A television (without cable) is in the room, and a cable television is available in the communal sitting room next door.
The ground floor bathroom to share is beautifully tiled, with the standard sink, shower, WC, mirrored medicine cabinet and storage cabinet. The dining area has a wooden round table seating four. The pass-through eat-in-kitchen is fully equipped with a sink, a stove, two refrigerators, freezer, a microwave, a dishwasher, storage cabinets, and a marble top table that seats four. You can access the garden through the kitchen.
Separated from Manhattan Island by the East River, Brooklyn is one of the five boroughs that together make up New York City. The Park Slope neighborhood is one of tree-lined streets with brownstone houses. Seventh Avenue is the main shopping street where you can find everyday necessities or relax at one of the many comfortable coffeehouses.
Transportation: 2/3 trains at Bergen Street and Q/B line is at Seventh Ave - both are about a five minute walk.
