This loft is situated in the heart of SoHo's Golden Rectangle on famous Greene Street between Prince and Spring. The building is a historic, turn-of-the-century cast iron walk-up which houses several apartments.
The apartment is very spacious (over 2,400 square feet), has lots of windows, 16-foot ceilings, hardwood floors done in decorator finish, exposed brick walls, a marble bath, two bedrooms, air conditioning, and an artistic interior. The living area has two sofas that seat six people, a table, chairs and some bookcases. There is also plenty of room for an office area; currently it is equipped with a desk (fax, printer, copier and wireless Internet) and a dining table with four chairs. The separate luxurious eat-in kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster and a dishwasher. The two-story marble bathroom has a tub, separate shower, and WC; towels are provided.
The bedrooms are upstairs and can be entered through the wide interior staircase (for fashion events, presentations). The master bedroom has a king-size bed and there is a window that faces the office area of the loft. The second bedroom has a double-size bed. In both bedrooms, sheets are provided and there is a phone jack. The apartment also features a world-class art collection. Designed and decorated by an internationally renowned sculptor, it affords a most unique, inspiring and stimulating environment, exactly what lifestyle magazines feature as prime New York loft living.
The neighborhood where the loft is situated is one of New York's best shopping areas. There are a lot of restaurants and grocery shops in the neighborhood. Uptown Manhattan can be reached very easily via several subway stations within walking distance.
