Absolutely lovely apartment (spacious and well decorated) in one of the best areas of New York. It has all the touches to feel like a home, and the owner is truly so kind and helpful - she really goes out of her way to make it a great stay. Highly recommend!

Great location in Chelsea, right next to the subway (ACE and L lines) and Chelsea Market / Meatpacking. Bit old but reasonably spacious one bedroom apartment, very quiet, and landlady (Andrea) was very helpful. Appliances are on the older side and had some issues with radiator heating in winter.

Thank you Shash for your helpful comments. It was very nice having you as a tenant!
We are always on hand to help with whatever issues may arise and I always tell the new tenants "If you need anything updated or if there is an issue with anything just let me know". There was an issue with the radiator valve but was resolved once Shash finally told us about it. I am happy to update appliances anytime it is requested. I guess Shash was too polite or didn't care enough to request something he might have preferred.
I very much want everyone to have a wonderful stay and think of the apartment as their home.

We had such an amazing experience both with the apartment (which was great) and with the landlord Andrea (so nice and helpful with our questions and our stay over all!). Great building and the location was perfect! Thank you!

Andrea was an excellent landlord. She is very warm and accommodating and responded promptly to any issues I had. The apartment was great. I enjoyed its mini split level layout which gave the apartment the illusion of being bigger and creating 2 environments within one space. The one complaint I have is respect to the very noise radiator that hisses in the winter. It was quite a nuisance and forced me to sleep with ear plugs on. Besides that, I really enjoyed the apartment and its superb location :)

Thank you Gregory! I'm glad you enjoyed your stay, it was wonderful having you!
Say hi to your lovely mom!

There was an issue with the hissing of the radiator for a while. The radiators do hiss on winter mornings when the heat comes up for a few minutes and then they quiet down. Once you finally told us that the hissing was bothering you we investigated and found the radiator valves were clogged, this caused steam to build up in the pipes which caused the loud hissing sounds. I believe once the valves were changed the issue was solved.

The apartment could use an update or renovation. It is quite worn, and the furniture looks shabby. The location is excellent, and the building is average in quality. The owner of the apartment was very nice to deal with.

Alexandra, it's too bad we never met! I did enjoy the actual guest, your mother, Esther. She was lovely and seemed to be quite happy and content with the accommodations. I will take into consideration all of your comments. My short term guests are usually extremely happy with location, building, quietness, cleanliness etc.

Great apartment! Wonderful location! The staff was attentive and friendly. The only things I would change would be to fix the fan in kitchen, clean between the counter and stove (it is extremely dusty dirty) and attach the large mirror to the wall in bedroom, so it doesn't move (if you want to sit in the chair)

I always want to hear feedback from guests as to how their stay was and if something may need updating or improvement. We will update the kitchen fan and tackle the dusty sliver of a space between the stove and counter (my apologies!) The suggestion about the bedroom mirror is also a good idea. Thanks for your feedback.

The biggest draw for me was how wonderful Andrea the landlord was. She went out of her way to accommodate us. I would stay there again.

Cosy, very well located (subway and Chelsea Markets). Landlady was delightful; very helpful and understanding especially in person, and treats you like a real guest.

Absolutely amazing NYC apartment in a buzzing neighborhood with the ACE and L trains located on the same block to give quick and easy access to other parts of Manhattan.

However, the Meatpacking District is basically one block over and you can in the heart of the West Village within 5 minutes of walking.

This is a great place to get a good feel for a couple of iconic NYC neighborhoods.

The owner of the apartment is extremely friendly, helpful and quick to respond if you need to ask anything. She also arranges welcome packages to the apartment which is incredibly thoughtful.

The location of this apartment was perfect and for a place with so much going on just steps away (shopping, restaurants, subway, etc) it was remarkable quiet inside the apartment.

Comfortable bed and couch as well. My daughter and I felt very safe and comfortable. The owner went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful!

We did stay for a month in that apartment and it was just great. Perfectly what we were looking for. Really easy to visit New York with the Subway station 200 meters away, line A C & E 14th Street Station entrance on 15th/8th Avenue and one block away is also the line 1 2 & 3.

We had some great walk on the High line a block away and some quiet afternoon ( Sunset) reading on the benches. Shopping all around ... 20 min walk from SOHO or two subway station. Few blocks from a great run or walk in Central park, Times Square is at 3 stations away ...

You are in the heart of New York but in a quiet street, low traffic and the apartment is at the back of the building. Peace and quiet. John Lennon would have love it. We were there the week of Sandy Hurricane and it was not easy time THANKS to Andrea the owner of the apartment to be so nice with us , for anything we could need and I guess it was not only during the week of Sandy as she is so happy to help for everything to make your stay just wonderful.

The apartment is perfect with a cool bedroom (for great nights) and nice Kitchen easy way to cook - and we are French... Great place to stay to visit the big apple and feel living like a New York citizen. We hope to come back soon ... one day! One week, one month, one year!

We had a fantastic stay at this apartment. The location is brilliant - a block from the Highline park and right near Chelsea markets. There is a subway station two minutes walk away with lines that give great access to Broadway theatres, Central Park and Brooklyn.

The owner was very helpful and very happy to help with any concerns we had. The apartment is at the back of the building, so absolutely no street noise. The bedroom is bright and airy.

The combined living room/kitchen area is small and not great if you plan cooking big meals, but why would you cook when Chelsea, the West Village and the Meat Packing District are all just outside the door?
