If you are looking for a unique New York dweller's experience that made me fall further in love with my fair city, bring a bottle of wine, two glasses and take the elevator to the 21st floor of our condo building for beautiful rooftop views of New York City that will take your breath away. A photographers dream, a picnicker's delight, an artist's utopia; the unique, (especially at night), views will truly astound you. The area is extremely romantic and I have yet to see another person during my respite times up on the roof. Picnic tables, benches, potted trees, and privacy will keep you coming back for private viewing's of the most amazing city in the world.
Our walking neighborhood includes Central Park, Lincoln Center, movies, museums, the famous Broadway Barnes and Noble four story book store which is open every night until midnight and has many book signings, readings by authors and free writing workshops, There are designer shops, renowned restaurants (Tavern on the Green), food emporiums, musical entertainment, as well as the YMCA (which honors reciprocity).
In addition, there are many wonderful eateries in the area including Francisco's, Fiorello's, Telepan, Compass, Rosa Mexicana, Balducci's, Wine and Small Plates as well as the Boathouse in Central Park and several phenomenal bakeries. If you are still hungry after all that, there is a 24 hour open Food Emporium which is less than a block and a half away.
The apartment is also within a short walk or cab ride from Central Park, the Time/Warner Building which has a Whole Foods store, Museums, Theatre's, Columbus Circle, Julliard School of Dance, the Beacon Theater, the Museum of Natural History, two Art movie theatres and an 18 movie Multiplex.
The Condo is convenient to the bus, and also the subway at 66th and 72nd Street and Broadway including the 1, 2, 3 Express trains which reach midtown, uptown, or downtown in less than 5 minutes. On the other end of the spectrum, the concierge will be happy to order you a custom limousine or a taxi to pick you up as our doorman opens the door for you and you will be transported wherever you desire.
