This fully furnished apartment is located on the fourth floor of a 5-story walk-up building on East 52nd Street & 2nd Avenue in Midtown East, a neighborhood of New York City. The apartment is opened by key code combination rather than a key, and has a buzzer system for guest entry. This is an older pre-war building in New York City, and the age is evident in some of the characteristics of the floors and windows, but is well maintained and constant improvements are being made.
The main living area of the studio has king-sized bed and a sofa facing the TV. Two closets provide storage space in addition to the dresser. You will find the kitchen through an arched doorway, which has basic appliances like a small gas stove, small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker, as well as a small dining area with chairs.
Three windows illuminate the apartment with natural light thanks to its 4th floor location, and overlook the street to the south and nearby buildings to the east. Complementary Internet is available throughout the apartment. Air conditioning is provided in the bedroom.
One of the best things about this apartment is its Midtown location! just around the corner from the nightlife and restaurant scene on 2nd Avenue, this studio is also close to NYC business hubs like Rockefeller Center and Citycorp Center. Parks of the neighborhood include not only the New York's famed Central Park, but also the UN Peace Garden and the Greenacre Park. For everyday conveniences, there is a Whole Foods Market on 57th Street and 3rd Avenue and a Food Emporium Supermarket on 2nd Avenue between 51st and 52nd Street.
The nearest subway station is on 51st Street and Lexington Avenue, and conveniently serves two lines: the local 6 train that runs up and down Manhattan's East Side and the M train, which will take you through the Lower East Side to Williamsburg, Brooklyn and beyond.
Please note: The floors in some of the units in this building have a minor slant.
Please also note that the heating system is radiator steam which can cause loud clanging when in use during the cold season.

They should improve the refrigerator and the air conditioner as well as habe it more clean and better maintained. |

Hi Gerardo, Thank you for your review, we are in the process of changing old refrigerator & air conditioners in the entire building. Regarding the cleaning, we have a person double checking after every cleaning. |
