Located on the outskirts of Chelsea on 10th Avenue, an area known as the Gallery District, in New York City, this apartment is set away from the Meat Packing District, which has ethnic restaurants, boutique shopping and nightlife, yet is only 5 blocks north. The famous Chelsea Market, home of The Food Network, is less than 4 blocks away (about 230m), where you will find an indoor market to shop for fresh vegetables, fruit, meat, fish, wine, freshly baked breads and pastries.

Less than a block away (under 100m) is the Highline Park, an elevated park with an acclaimed design that turns an early 20th century overhead freight railway into an aerial pedestrian ribbon connecting the West Village, the Meatpacking District, Chelsea and Midtown. Along the river three blocks away is the recently completed Hudson River Park, a beautiful landscaped esplanade along the Hudson River with bike and roller-blading lanes, park benches, renovated piers, lawns and spectacular views of downtown Manhattan. Hello, Nick. I am so pleased that you and your friends enjoyed your stay in the loft. It is difficult to capture in photographs the size of the space so I think clients are often surprised that it is so expansive. It is also unusual to have such an unobstructed view of the Highline. Thanks so much for your positive review.

I am very pleased, Khalida, that you enjoyed your stay. It matters a great deal to me that your experience was positive. The Chelsea area has become one of the most vibrant area's in New York City. I am happy that you appreciated the location, it's proximity to the Highline, the Chelsea Market and the Art Galleries. It was wonderful to meet you and I would welcome your return.

A fantastic stay in a Real Artist's Loft. A great taste of how life could be.

Surrounded by galleries, eateries and delectable bakeries and a killer view of the Hudson River with magical lightning storms, and a fascinating view of The Highline, this loft is a retreat. The bonuses include a foodies' kitchen, great books and a swinging bench.

Had a wonderful time. Terry, the landlord and Beth the agent, are a breeze to work with.

The only negative was the construction of some buildings across the street- cement mixers and beeping all day but this is NYC! It is forever changing! Thank you for a lovely stay.

Christine, I know that you had a wonderful stay. I work hard to make the space beautiful and it is. Of course, the construction is something that is not in my control. They are building , not directly across the street, but between 19th and 20th st. on the west side of Tenth Avenue. I am between 18th and 19th St. on the west side of Tenth Avenue.

Unfortunately, you were there during the worst part, which is the digging of the foundation and the pouring of concrete. That is now over. I'm not sure how long the construction will be. My guess would be another 6 months.

The area around the High Line is one of the most dynamic neighborhoods in New York City. The location is amazing and so is the space. The NYC construction laws are very strict regarding noise pollution and the developer is conforming to the law. At this time in the New York economy it is not unusual to be near construction. As an example, there is construction directly across the street from the High Line Hotel and they are doing a booming business.

I really enjoyed the apartment. It is located in a very charming neighborhood between Chelsea and Meatpacking with little cafés and shops and galleries around the corner, right in the middle of Manhattan, so that both uptown and downtown are easily reachable.

The apartment itself is amazing. Because it is very big, very sunny (afternoon sun is shining right through the three very big windows), and - last but not least - you can see the Hudson River with the cruise liners from your window.

Highline is right in front of the building so that you can do your jogging every morning there. I must say that I liked the place very much indeed and can recommend it highly. Kitchen, bathroom etc. - everything perfect.

The apartment owner is very considerate and engaging - a person I am happy to have met.

This is an amazing apartment! With an amazing owner! Nothing less.

My boyfriend and I have lived in NYC several times over long periods of time and we have lived in a number of different apartments both in Manhattan and in Brooklyn and it's rare to find such a clean and beautiful place in such a great area (usually you will have to choose between one or the other).

The location is impeccable. The owner is very nice and she makes you feel at home. She is extremely helpful.

We liked the place because it was beautiful and because the area is good but also because it was great getting to know her. We can surely recommend this place.
