The location is great, the apartment has everything one might need when staying for a few months, and the owner is very nice and helpful. Everything was perfectly organized when we arrived. We would definitely come back!

My experience with renting an apartment via New York Habitat has been nothing but good. The contact with Marijn from New York Habitat was very pleasant. The apartment looked exactly as described and as shown on the website. It is a great furnished apartment in a very safe, lively and hip neighbourhood.

I was very pleased that the owner agreed with paying the rent and deposit using Paypal. That is a very safe and comfortable way of paying. The only thing I would suggest for improving is for the owners to mention beforehand if there are any extra costs. After informing with my contact at New York Habitat I was told that there was wifi internet available. I assumed this was included in the rent, but it turned out that I had to pay an extra 30 dollars a month for that. I would have liked to know that in advance.

The owner was very forthcoming and approachable. For example: many times the wifi internet connection wasn't working. After I mentioned and complained about this and requested a partial refund, without discussing it she gave me a full refund. All of this made my stay in New York very pleasant. I would certainly use New York Habitat again in the future and even have recommended your services to a colleague of mine who is planning to stay in New York for a lengthy period.

For furnished rentals of 1 month or more, electricity and Internet are sometimes not included in the rent and this was reflected in the client's contract but perhaps was overlooked by the client. As for the Internet connection problems, the owner has changed wiress Internet service providers and has not had any issues since the change.
