Let the dream of staying in New York City unravel, as you stay in this furnished one bedroom apartment, located right in the center of the Lower East Side of Manhattan. This spacious, yet warm hard wooden floor apartment, with an available private terrace, is located on the top of a 3-story walk-up building (equivalent to the European 2-story). The building includes a buzzer/intercom at its entrance, providing security for its tenants.
This apartment provides hard wooden floors throughout, including an office area. The living room is furnished with a sofa, allowing you to sit back and relax, as you watch the flat screen TV (cable channels available and DVD player) during your stay. It also includes the comfort of an available closet space, and a large kitchen, which is fully equipped with all the necessary utensils for you to prepare your own home-cooked meals, and avoid the hassle of ordering food and eating out in the city; a dining table in the kitchen is offered, as well as the amenity of a washer/dryer unit. Lastly, in the kitchen there is also a sliding door, which leads you out to the 300 square foot (78 sqm) private terrace, where you can sit and enjoy the views of this extravagant city, as you sit along and enjoy the treat of the table and chairs included out in the terrace.
The owner of the apartment does provide a convenient rental cleaning service, which you may consider taking part of during your stay.
The apartment is located in the Lower East Side; the area is regarded as an extremely lively area, very fashion forward, and a very artistic one at that in New York City. The Lower East Side has a number of restaurants, bars, clubs, rare boutiques, parks, a number of art galleries, and museums as well, the most notorious one, The Tenement Museum. The area is the perfect location for those who have a love for the night life scene, as well as an interest in its fun bohemian atmosphere. With all these features, the neighborhood may get noisy, especially on the weekends. It also offers easy access to many of Manhattan’s other famous neighborhoods, including the East Village, Chinatown, Little Italy, as well as Soho.
This apartment’s cross streets are Hester Street and Eldridge Street and the available subway lines include the B, D, and F at the Grand Street / Chrystie Street station.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hester Street. Vincent was extremely helpful and accommodating and provided me with some great resources for car service vendors on my arrival. |

Vincent, the owner was just wonderful, so friendly and helpful. And the apartment is great, so well equipped (washing machine, dryer, even an espresso machine), big, with a lot of daylight, a 3 minute walk from Grand Street station, within walking distance to Soho. Couldn't have been better! |

The landlord thought of everything, so our move-in was simple...just bring our clothes. He helped orient us to the neighborhood and gave us great tips. The apartment was very comfortable and we loved the roof deck off the kitchen. The only negative was when we had the windows open, cigarette smoke from the resident below us would drift in. |
