The interior photos are from a model apartment in the building. The model apartment is representative of both the quality and style of apartments offered at this location. Description, floor plan and photos are for reference purposes only. Actual apartment's dimensions, layouts and furniture may vary.
The furnished studio apartment is located in a 43-story (considered a 42-story by Europeans) high-rise building with an elevator and fulltime doorman in Midtown West, Manhattan. The building has many amenities such as 24-hour concierge service, laundry facilities, a fitness center, a swimming pool, and a roof deck. Furthermore, there is an attended garage and housekeeping service is available, as is high-speed internet access. Because this is a model apartment the exposure may vary, but many apartments at this location have a balcony with panoramic views of New York City.
The apartment itself is secured with an intrusion alarm and intercom system. The comfortable living area of the apartment is air-conditioned and features a double bed, sofa, flat-screen TV with cable & DVD player, and a dining room table. The room is decorated tastefully with artwork depicting some of the city's most striking architecture. The separate kitchen has a granite kitchen countertop, and is fully equipped with a fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker and toaster. This makes it easy to prepare home-cooked meals. The classic bathroom includes a bathtub with shower, WC and washbasin. Linen and towels are provided upon arrival along with complimentary bath products.
You can find the studio at West 48th Street & 8th Avenue in the bustling Theater District of Midtown West. This whole area is simply buzzing with excellent restaurants, fantastic rooftop bars and, of course, countless theaters. Right on your street you will find the rooftop bar XVI Lounge, restaurant Pongsri Thai, and Japanese eatery, Hakata. Furthermore, the popular Times Square is just two blocks away from the apartment! You will not only find the famous billboards here, but also great shops such as Forever 21, the Disney store, and Sephora. Another landmark, Rockefeller Center, is just 4 blocks away. To get a little peace and quiet after spending a day in one of the busiest areas of New York, you can walk southeast for 8 blocks to Bryant Park, or 11 blocks north to Central Park. Alternatively, you can catch a subway to explore other areas in Manhattan or the other boroughs. There are three subway stations nearby: two blocks north at the 50 Street / 8 Avenue station you can catch the C or E trains; 1 block east from here you can catch the 1 train at the 50 Street / Broadway station; 1 block east of the apartment you can catch the N, Q, or R trains at the 49 Street / 7 Avenue station.
