This one bedroom furnished apartment is located on the first floor (considered ground floor by Europeans) of a 5 –story building in the Clinton (Hell’s Kitchen) neighborhood of Manhattan, New York. Gain access into the building through a buzzer system. Also found in the building is a laundry facility.
Enter the one bedroom into a hallway that gives access to the kitchen and living room. Equipped with all stainless steel appliances including a 4-burner stove, microwave and dishwasher, the kitchen provides you with all the necessary appliances needed to prepare home cooked meals. The hallway then opens up into the living room. In here white walls are accented with a red futon couch and window treatments, while a zebra print rug adds some flair to the room. From the window you can see down onto the inner courtyard that is shared among the residents of the apartment.
Nicely positioned for more privacy, the bedroom and bathroom are found at the opposite end of the apartment. Sleekly decorated with a queen-sized bed, the air-conditioned bedroom has a window that welcomes sunlight into the room. In the black and white bathroom a toilet and tub/shower unit flanks a sink with cabinet unit. A window can be found in the tub, which brightens the space. There is a closet for storage in between these rooms in the hallway.
The Clinton / Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood is a vibrant section of Midtown West. The immediate 44th Street and 9th Avenue cross-section offers endless amounts of options in terms of restaurants, bars, and shopping. Even on your own block will you find the famous Actor’s Studio, known for its television program, Inside the Actor’s Studio, hosted by James Lipton. Maybe you will spot some celebrities strolling down your street!
Walk two avenue blocks east to bring you to Broadway, this area better known as Times Square. Down at 42nd Street and 7th Avenue is the Times Square / 42nd Street subway station which provides access to the 1,2,3, N,Q,R, and 7 lines as well as the Shuttle which can bring you east to Grand Central Station. Port Authority Bus Terminal can be found at 42nd Street and 8th Avenue. 10 blocks south or 1 stop on the 1 line gives you access to Penn Station which services all Amtrak, LIRR, and NJ Transit trains as well as the A,C, and E subway lines. All of NYC is easily accessible from this prime Manhattan location!
