Conveniently located in the heart of Manhattan’s Midtown East neighborhood, just two streets from the 59th Street transit hub, this stylish one bedroom is a great choice for your upcoming visit to New York City. The fifth floor walkup (fourth floor for Europeans) is on the top of a low-rise building that provides a buzzer/intercom system for your safety and comfort.
Perfect for those desiring flexibility, both couches in the living area fold out into beds. The space is air conditioned and distinguished by hardwood floors. Decorated in whites and neutral taupes, the space benefits from natural light due to its top floor location. There’s a flatscreen television and basic cable, as well as wireless internet throughout the apartment. The living area also features a small dining area and an open kitchen with the appliances and utensils you might need to cook during your stay.
Situated at the end of a hallway, the bedroom offers privacy and simple furnishings. The double bed includes sheets and you’ll find towels in the bathroom in addition to the expected toilet and bathtub with shower.

Midtown East is a vibrant neighborhood known for being home to some of New York’s most recognizable skyscrapers in addition to fine dining and excellent shopping. You’ll find Serendipity, offering some of the city’s finest deserts on East 60th Street, just north of the apartment building. Try the lobster ravioli at Club A Steak House or sample the Chilean Sea Bass at next door Yuva. Less than a quarter mile away is the 59th Street and Lexington Avenue transit hub, with two major subway lines running through it, giving access to express and local train options. If you keep walking west on 59th Street, you will be greeted by the entrance to Central Park, the perfect place to enjoy the outdoors on a nice day, with jogging and biking trails, the zoo and plenty of grass for picnicking. For groceries, Food Emporium a street to the east on First Avenue is a good option for the essentials, although you might prefer to stop at Whole Foods Market, two streets south on East 57th Street, for specialty items or their Body store.
The subway is a short walk away on 59th Street and Lexington Avenue, and you’ll find the N, Q, R, 4, 5, and 6 trains here in addition to the F train located a few streets north on 63rd Street and Lexington Avenue. One of Midtown’s transit hubs, you will find both local and express trains here making stops across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx.
