To reach other parts of New York City, you can take the F train at the 2 Avenue / Houston Street : Lower East Side subway station. It will take you to Midtown Manhattan and Queens, and all the way to Coney Island in Brooklyn if you take it to the other direction. Alternatively the J and M trains at Delancey Street / Essex Street run down to the Financial District and to the northern parts of Brooklyn, crossing the Williamsburg Bridge. Admire the views on the New York skyline while crossing the bridge!
