We had a rather good stay on the whole. The biggest issue was heating as it was overheating during winter and was very noisy but apparently it is very common in Brooklyn. Other than that, everything worked well, we never saw the owners but they stepped in quickly when needed.

The owner was absolutely not welcoming: he didn't say hi, nor did he show us the apartment; there was no inventory of fixtures and he insisted a lot on the fact that I could pay in cash.

Another weakness: the living room is not really useful as the television is in the bedroom and there is no coffee table.

There is a huge hole between the air conditioner and the window, so that fresh air comes in freely. Heater is hardly adjustable and very noisy. There is not enough cooking utensils. Wi-Fi connection is very bad.

Strong points: very comfortable bed, huge storage space, bathroom's ok.

Thank you for the feedback, Manon.

I'm sorry to hear you thought I was not welcoming. I do think that I said hi, and I showed you the apartment, but you were in a rush as you arrived there late in the day. I want to be welcoming to all my guests.

I only have one TV at the moment and I like to keep it in the bedroom. There isn't enough space for a coffee table, unfortunately, but there is a small desk in the corner of the living room.

I wish you had told me about the AC and heating situation. I could have been able to do something to fix things. I want to encourage my guests to reach out to me if they have any problems with the apartment. This applies for the cooking utensils too: there are all the basics for cooking in the apartment, but you could have asked if there was something specific you were missing. I'm sorry to now hear of the Wi-Fi problems too. It sometimes gets slowed down by other guests who download videos.

I'm sorry you felt that I insisted on cash. I offered to accept PayPal as well, but I think these two methods of payment are convenient, plus I'm having difficulties receiving wire transfers at the moment.

Glad to hear you liked the bed! Thanks again for the review.
