Get to know an up-and-coming area of Brooklyn with this one bedroom fully furnished apartment rental on the ground floor of a four-story townhouse near the intersection of Adelphi Street and Park Avenue in the hip Fort Greene neighborhood.
The living room features a leather single sofa bed facing a wall-mounted flat screen cable TV, with a glass coffee table and accent rug to bring the room together. The open kitchen's oven, freezer and plenty of cabinet makes it easy to cook at home and there's a wooden dining table for four in the living room!
While the living room faces the street, the bedroom provides a view of your own private backyard, accessible through a door next to the closet. The queen-size bed (160cm) is the perfect place to crash after a busy day of work or of exploring New York.
Fort Greene is a diverse and exciting area of NYC, sandwiched between the bustle of Downtown Brooklyn and the redeveloping Brooklyn Navy Yard (.7mi/1.1mi), home to Kings County Distillery's locally crafted bourbon. This area is also known for the Pratt Institute (.6mi/900m), a private art school, making this a great location for Pratt students.
Get to know locals’ favorite spots like Park Avenue Luncheonette (.2mi/280m) or try newcomers like Lolo Bklyn (American gastro-pub; .2mi/350m) and WTF Coffee Lab (Artisanal café; .3mi/450m). On the weekends, you can head to Fort Greene Park (.2mi/400m) for some fresh air or find your way through the Brooklyn Flea on Lafayette Avenue (.6mi/1km).

Adelphi Street is situated in Fort Greene which felt very safe, vibrant and community orientated. The apartment is clean, comfortable and very spacious. It was very easy to access and is close to downtown Brooklyn, which is a nice place to hang out or travel to/from. The neighbours are friendly and respectful of space and noise and the owner was always very friendly, accessible and accommodating which helped to create an even greater experience. I highly recommend this apartment. |
