The owners where so welcoming when we first arrived to the apartment for some of my friends it was there first time in New York so it made them feel right at home. They had a big welcoming sign in the kitchen with all our names on it they really went above and beyond. The apartment was absolutely beautiful and suited our needs considerably. I honestly could not fault it 10/10. |

THE WORST APARTMENT EVER! |

This is in response to the review that Andrea posted regarding her experience at our apartment located at Stuyvesant Ave & Halsey Street, Brooklyn New York. I feel that it is very unfortunate that Andrea would leave such a terrible review about me and my wife. As we are with every guest that stays at our apartment, we were extremely accommodating to these four young ladies. Indeed this is a three bedroom apartment, we typically host three tenants. This is done so that all of the tenants can enjoy having their own space if needed. First, we were asked if we would put an extra bed in one of the rooms to accommodate the fourth person at our cost and second, to do this for the same rate that we would charge for three guests. Because of our relationship with New York Habitat we said yes without hesitation. We found the group to be very nice although we only met two of them when they initially arrived. We had a few bumps getting the initial security deposit and first months rent as there were issues on their part getting it to us, but we worked through it with them. The place was immaculately clean when they arrived, including all of the appliances as well as the inside of both the microwave and refrigerator, which is the way I deliver the apartment to all of my guest. I have several reviews mention how clean the place was upon their arrival which I am happy to share. All of the appliances are less than 2 years old and very well kept. Whenever I welcome a guest I go over house rules and one of the things I mention with every stay is that (you please refrain from using anything abrasive on the appliances as I do not want them to get scratched). The ladies accepted the apartment with no complaints nor did we ever receive a complaint from them during their entire stay. The neighborhood for which Andrea referred to as being horrible with drug dealers is Bedford Stuyvesant Brooklyn, one of the most sought out neighborhoods in the New York City area, with multimillion dollar properties owned by professionals such as doctors, lawyers, politicians, artist, entertainers and just good hard working people. |
