Location:Upper West Side (Hamilton Heights section of Harlem)
Size:1 large studio apartment with an eat in kitchen and full bathroom.
Sleeps 2. Approximately 500 square feet.
Building: This address is a pre-war building within a historic district of Harlem. This is a seven- story building with an elevator. This is a secure building where the front door is only accessible to tenants with keys. Guests can gain access via the intercom access system.
Interior: This spacious studio has been completely renovated and has high ceilings and hardwood floors. This apartment receives a great deal of sunlight because of the eastern exposure. There is a comfortable queen size futon that sleeps 2. There is cable, AC, VCR, and stereo. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and dining for 2. The bathroom has a bathtub/shower.
The neighborhood is very safe and family oriented. There is a supermarket and Laundromat just across the street. There is an authentic jazz pub just one block south of this apartment.
There is also a state recreation center with exercise and swimming facilities available five blocks south.
The public transportation in this neighborhood is excellent. This apartment is situated on an express subway stop, which means that it only takes 20 minutes to be in the West Village from here if you take the historic A train. Columbus Circle, Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall are all only 15 minutes away by the A,B,C or D trains.Taxi's and buses are also available just in front of the building.
