Two bedroom, two bathroom apartment in a townhouse on Lexington Avenue
|
Location: New York City, Lexington Avenue, between 30th and 31st Street.
Size: 2 bedrooms, 2 baths with an area of approximately 800 square feet.
Building: Convenient Murray Hill area. The apartment is on the 3rd floor of a privately owned townhouse. There is no elevator. A charming gated brick courtyard greets you at the entrance. The front door is kept locked and entry is with your own key or for visitors, through an intercom system.
Interior: Well lit and spacious, it has all the conveniences of home.
The entry leads to the Dinning Room, which is located at the back of the building and is about 200 square feet in size. The room is furnished with a dining table for six people, and six comfortable chairs. A TV is provided and cable is available at the request of the tenant. There are two french doors facing the back. There is an air conditioner in the living room.
The first bedroom has 2 queen sized beds, a large closet and an air conditioner. There is a large bathroom attached to the bedroom with two french doors leading to a private roof top terrace,which has views of the Empire State Building and the eastern Manhattan skyline and neighboring buildings.There is an outdoor table with chairs and plenty of room for other outdoor furniture.
The second bedroom is smaller and also offers a queen size bed. There is a smaller closet in this room as well as a sizable dresser. The room has an exposed brick wall and a window facing the street. It is also air-conditioned and has a skylight.
The bathroom has a bathtub with shower and a large vanity mirror. Linens and towels are provided. There is a skylight in the bathroom
The full size kitchen with utensils and cookware allows you to cook gourmet meals

Neighborhood: The neighborhood is convenient to Midtown and Lower Manhattan. There are several delis and coffee shops nearby. There are two grocery stores just one block away, and a vegetable shop two blocks away. Local restaurants include Indian, Japanese, Italian, Chinese, and an American Bar and Grill. A Large movie theatre, Barnes and Nobles, and Staples, are just two blocks away.
Others: The # 6 subway is two blocks away. The bus line stops right across the street.
