Spacious, well located and newly renovated one bedroom in the East Village.

This one bedroom is located in the East Village in a prewar, walk-up building. There are 33 units in the building and there are five stories (no elevator). There is an enclosed outdoor-garden space in front of the building. This landscaped area is a perfect spot to sit and enjoy a book and a cup of coffee. The closest laundry facility is right across the street The L train station is a just step away at 14th street. This building has a front door security system with double doors and a locked security gate.
The apartment is located on the ground floor, is approximately 400 sq ft and has hardwood floors.
There is one nice sized clothing closet in each apartment. There are hardwood floors throughout the space. The living room/dining room has two windows with an air-conditioner. The furnishings are eclectic in style and include a queen sized futon couch, a chair and ottoman, and a television entertainment center. The entertainment center has a TV with cable and a telephone with an answering service. The dining area has a microwave stand and a dining table with seating for four persons.
The kitchen is open and has a microwave, full sized refrigerator, and gas stove. There are new cabinets that hold the pots and pans and cooking utensils. There is also a coffee maker and toaster. There is ample space to prepare and store food.
The bedroom has a window, a double trundle bed that has an additional twin sized bed underneath that can be pulled out for an additional person. There is also a dresser and night table. There is one additional phone jack in the bedroom.
The bathroom is newly remodeled and has a window; it comes equipped with a tub and shower combination, and a small sink. The floors and walls are tiled. It is very clean and bright.
This apartment is located one block away from the L train on 14th Street. It is also approximately a 10 minute walk away from the union square station where you can catch the N, R, 4,5,6 trains. Yellow taxis can be hailed at all times of the day or night. There are numerous inexpensive restaurants of every variety, and many wonderful food stores. There are also many terrific bars and clubs in the neighborhood as well as movie theatres.
