Nice one bedroom apartment in the heart of Greenwich Village
|
Location: New York City, on the border of Greenwich Village and Chelsea. 14th Street between Seventh and Eight Avenues.
Size: 1 Bedroom, 1 Bath. Approximately 800 square feet. Sleeps two.
Building: Elevator brownstone building with buzzer intercom security system. Immaculate, updated building with a coin operated laundry in the basement.
Interior: Sunny, spacious rooms with 16 foot ceilings and 7 foot windows. Living room has brick fireplace and floor to ceiling bookcases with a full library. Rooms have new, individual air conditioning units. Full kitchen has new appliances including stove with oven, refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave. The kitchen is fully equipped with cookware, utensils, dishes, coffeemaker, toaster, etc. The bathroom has a full bathtub with shower. Ample storage is provided in a double closed in the bedroom. Bedroom furnishings include a double bed, end table and small dresser. All linens are provided and the apartment has a phone available for local and incoming calls, a clock radio and color television in the living room.
Neighborhood: The apartment is well located where visitors can enjoy the amenities of two of New York's most exciting neighborhoods. Within walking distance you will find shops, restaurants, bars and movies of both Greenwich Village and Chelsea. Chelsea's famous Joyce Theater is located just a few blocks away. Within two blocks are two grocery stores, two large pharmacies, a 24 hour doughnut shop, bagel restaurant, dry cleaners, hair salons and banks. One of New York's famous farmers' markets is located a short walk down 14th Street at Union Square.
Transportation: One of the best located areas transportation-wise visitors have access to the numbers 1,2,3 trains on 7th Avenue, the F train and Path on 6th Avenue and the A and E trains on 8th Avenue. Cross-town buses run along 14th Street and connect to all major north/south bus routes. Taxis can be hailed in front of the door or along any major Avenue or Street throughout the City.
Emergency St. Vincent's Hospital is located two blocks away.
