This is a one bedroom apartment in the Manhattan neighborhood of Midtown West. On West 40th Street and Eighth Avenue, this low-rise apartment building will put you in the middle of some of the most iconic NYC scenery.
Fully furnished, the one bedroom apartment is decorated in a traditional and welcoming style. The living area and open kitchen has cherry cabinets and granite counter tops. The apartment is set right in the heart of Midtown West. Around the corner is the Port Authority Bus Terminal and New York Times building. Times Square is only an avenue away where you can enjoy bright lights and boundless energy. For some authentic New York flair, head over to Ninth Avenue where many of the city’s top restaurants are found including more casual establishments such as Amy’s Bread where you can indulge in a delicious slice of double chocolate cake (0.5mi/750m). Please note that due to the apartment’s proximity to these high-volume areas, there can be noise from both foot and auto traffic.
Access the trains from either 42 Street / 8 Avenue : Port Authority Bus Terminal for the A/C/E trains (0.2mi/400m) or 42 Street / 7 Avenue / Broadway : Times Square for the 1/2/3/N/Q/R/W/7/S (0.2mi/300m).

Overall a great apartment. The microwave and toaster didn't work super well. The rest of the appliances were great. When I arrived it didn't have a towel rack. I let the super know right away and he sent someone to put one in right away. |

The apartment was well furnished and came with all amenities. The location is great if one wants to live in the heart of the city. The subway station is right next to the building making it very easy to commute. The landlord was helpful and the building superintendent was always gracious in sorting out any issues that arose. One thing about the location to be kept in mind is that, as the building is located in front of the Port Authority Bus Terminal and Station, there were a lot of characters around which did not make the place feel particularly safe. One can also hear a lot of noise throughout the night through the windows. Apart from these issues, it was a good experience. |

We enjoyed our stay in New York very much. We have already been to many places in the world and this apartment was very nice. Everything was clean and quiet, although it was close to Times Square. We did not need to use the Metro very often as the apartment was located in Midtown and everything we needed was just around the corner. |
