This one-bedroom apartment is located in a brownstone walk-up building on 10th Street between 2nd and 3rd Avenues.
The tastefully decorated living room has hardwood floors and exposed brick walls with a fireplace. The two windows face a quiet, tree-lined street. It is furnished with a sofa, a coffee table, shelves, and a desk with an Internet connection.
The kitchen has an opening to the living room with a counter and stools. It is equipped with a stove, a refrigerator, pots and pans, dishes and other kitchen utensils.
The bedroom has a full-sized bed, a flat-screen television mounted on the wall, and a DVD player. The bedroom overlooks a garden with flowering trees and singing birds. The bathroom contains all the essentials and towels and linen is also provided.
The East Village is full of many outstanding restaurants offering a spectrum of ethnic choices. Avenues A and B are a hotspot of new cafes, bars and nightclubs. Within the neighborhood there are numerous art galleries, clubs, shops and boutiques. Grocery, produce and hardware stores are all within a block. Tompkins Square Park is located just two blocks away from the apartment, providing visitors with a space in which to stroll and relax. This apartment boasts close proximity to both Cooper Union and New York University, and the streets around St. Mark's Place are packed with a variety of coffeehouses, boutiques, and health food stores.
Transportation is very convenient, with the 4,5,6 subways at the Astor Place Station and the W and R subways at the Broadway/8th Street Station.
