Known for their sangria and outdoor seating, this place also has an upstairs lounge that is popular on weekend nights. Famous attractions in the area include the New York Metropolitan Art Museum’s Cloisters Museum located in Fort Tryon Park, right across the street from your apartment! This museum, constructed of actual French abbeys transported from Europe, is full of medieval art that was mostly donated by the Rockefeller family. The gardens surrounding the museum have been designed to reflect actual medieval landscape plans. If you are looking to explore outdoors head to Inwood Park, the oldest piece of nature in Manhattan. Originally inhabited by the Lenape Indians, this park features salt marshes, caves and a forest which is perfect for running, hiking and biking. There is also a dog park here, barbecues and playgrounds in the park.
To access downtown Manhattan there are two subway stations nearby. For service on the 1 train head to the Dyckman Street / Nagle Avenue Station, or for access to the A train head to the Dyckman Street / Broadway Station.

The apartment is cozy; in the neighborhood there is a park and easy access to transportation; the A and 1 trains are very close; the roommate is kind and helpful. |
