Charming Bedroom in a Brownstown Apartment right next to Central Park.

77th street between Columbus and Amsterdam Avenue.
This one-bedroom apartment has been converted into a two-bedroom. It is located on the third floor of a brownstown building with buzzer/intercom system. The apartment is beautifully decorated with paintings, incens candles and rugs giving a homy atmosphere. There is internet access.
When you enter the apartment, you are directly in the comfortable living room that has sofas, a dining table, lots of bookshelves, a decorative fireplace, TV with cable and DVD and stereo. The owner has her own private office space and her bed on a mezzanine.
The bedroom for rent has two windows facing the courtyards in the back, a full-size bed, bookshelves, two nighstands, antique chair, huge closet space, color TV with cable and DVD/VCR, two lamps and two mirrors: one antique medium size, the other a full body size behind the entrance door.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, lots of cabinets and dishes. The bathroom has a tub, shower, WC, sink and mirror. Towels and bed linens are provided.
This part of the Upper West Side is very residential and historic (one block from the Museum of National history) and is a short walk from a world of shopping, dining and entertainment choices. You can find lots of beautiful tree line streets with nice brownstone buildings. You can enjoy Hudson River and Central Park just across the street, the jogging track around the reservoir and free tennis courts. On Columbus Avenue you can also find restaurants, bars, supermarkets, delis and clothing stores.
Transportation: Trains 1 to 79th Street or B, C to 81st Street.
