This fully furnished 7 bedroom house, built in 1887, is located in the historical part of Harlem, New York, which is called Hamilton Heights.
The owner lives in the house on the first 2 floors and rents bedrooms on the 3rd and 4th floors to guests for bed breakfast and for share. Each bedroom has its own key for privacy.
Each room has a TV with basic cable and access to wireless Internet.
The 4th floor has skylights for extra light inside the house.
The living room/entrance of the house is not available to guests.
Bedroom #1 is located on the 3rd floor of the house. It offers a south exposure and has a double sized bed.
Bedroom #2 is located on the 3rd floor of the house. It offers a north side exposure and has a queen sized bed.
Bedroom #3 is located on the 4th floor of the house. It offers a northern exposure and has a queen sized bed.
Bedroom #4 is located on the 4th floor of the house. It offers a southern exposure and has a queen sized bed.
The separate kitchen is located on the 4th floor and is fully equipped with all necessary items to cook.
Bathroom 1 is located on the 3rd floor of the house.
Bathroom 2 is located on the 4th floor of the house.
Hamilton Heights is the historical part of Harlem, an Uptown neighborhood of New York City. It has beautiful houses built in the late 1800s and is conveniently located near Riverside Drive and the Hudson River with its many parks. This house is very near City College and near the subway station. There are shops, restaurants and supermarkets in the area.

The place is overall great and the owner is very nice, but the internet connection isn't very good, the cable is very limited and in the summer it is very hot. |

This review was forwarded to the owner of this roommate share. He explained that the top floor can be warm on the front side of the house because of all the afternoon sun, but there is a ceiling fan in each room. He also said that the wireless connection is usually good but can be boosted if needed by using a wireless N-card. |
