This fully furnished 3-bedroom apartment to share is located in the Bronx, New York City. It's located on the fourth floor of a five-story walk up building. The building has a buzzer, intercom, and video surveillance security system. This apartment share features a home theater in the shared living room that has a 57" plasma television, cable and DVD with a full stereo speaker system. The bedroom # 1 is comprised of matching wooden furniture that includes a queen sized bed, dresser, and bedside table. The warm tones of the décor help to accent the wood. In addition, a television with cable and DVD is provided in the bedroom as well as a phone and A/C. Other apartment features include WiFi Internet and a washer. Additional laundry facilities are located on the ground floor of the building. The kitchen and room #1 to rent both face the adjacent building and are well lit due to their southern exposure. The living room faces north and offers views of Manhattan and the Harlem River as well as the Bronx. A second, smaller bedroom (#2) can also be made available. It includes the same amenities as the bedroom #1 described above and offers a street view. These rooms for rent are in The Bronx. It is located to the northeast of Manhattan. It is separated from Manhattan by the Harlem River yet is connected by bridges and the subway. Cedar Avenue is located on the western edge of the Bronx in the University Heights section. The neighborhood contains grocery stores and various restaurants. A quick walk over the University Heights Bridge suddenly places you in Manhattan and offers easy access to the 1 and A trains. The 4 train is also available from the apartment. It runs straight through the Bronx. It is common for the Bronx to be over-shadowed by neighboring Manhattan. However, the Bronx boasts several attractions worth checking out, including the famous Bronx Zoo, the New York Botanical Garden and the new Yankee Stadium.
