Heather, the owner, is soooo COOL! it was like a family for me, practicing English, learning about America, having fun and enjoying cooking sometimes! The perfect place to be, and Brooklyn was really a great calm neighborhood far from the crowd of Manhattan.

Sep 04 2012I had a great time, the owner is very friendly and helpful whenever you need something.
The location of the apartment is great, we can be in Manhattan in less than 15 minutes, depending where you want to go. There is a street (Smith street) where you can buy anything you want two blocks away from the apartment, with restaurants, pizzas, asian food...
There is everything you need in the apartment (a bed, a bathroom, a washing machine with a dryer). Moreover there is TV with cable for when you get bored, and a desk with a chair. The apartment is clean.
There is a cat that you won't notice because he is very quiet and calm. And there is a small dog that you will notice because he always wants to play, but he is very funny. He's not allowed to enter your room.
Everything was great, the only annoying things was that it was very hot for a few nights (I stayed there in July/August) and it was hard to fall asleep. But it shouldn't be a problem if you come between September and June.

We appreciate your feedback. We shared your comments with the owner, who confirmed that there is a 28,000-BTU air conditioner in the living room and that she has two fans, which she can provide to guests upon request.

Yes my husband and I were very please with Guillaume. He was a very nice mild mannered young man. Extremely clean and considerate. He was so wonderful we took him with us on our vacation and paid all his expenses on the trip. He has since invited us to France.
