This bedroom for rent is in a nicely laid out duplex apartment in the coveted neighborhood of Park Slope, Brooklyn. The two-bedroom duplex is situated on the first and second floors of a 4-story elevator low-rise building. In addition to its great location, this building has great amenities, including a part-time doorman from 8 am to 4 pm in addition to a video intercom system. There is a backyard garden area that is for the exclusive use of you and the roommate, and a washer/dryer in the apartment.
The available room for rent is on the upper level, facing west toward the garden area. The bathroom is ensuite, ensuring your privacy, and there is a double-doored closet for storing your belongings out of sight. The room itself is simply furnished, allowing you to put your personality and style into it. There is a single size bed and a dresser, as well as bedside table. Wireless Internet access and air conditioning are available.
The roommate occupies the second bedroom, also found on the upper level.
Downstairs on the first floor, you have the shared living room and kitchen. The living room is lined with hardwood floors, and has a window and glass door giving access to the shared garden. There's an eating area with a table and chairs where you can enjoy a meal. The kitchen opens onto the living room and is fully equipped with all amenities needed for cooking at home. It has a double-doored fridge, a stove, a microwave and most importantly, a dishwasher.
Please note that there is a small dog in this apartment, cared for by the roommate.
This apartment is located on Sterling Place, perfectly located between the main throughofares of Park Slope, 7th and 5th Avenues; these streets are lined with shops, restaurants and bars. You are also only 3 blocks from Grand Army Plaza, where a farmer's market is held on the weekends, and Prospect Park, a huge expanse designed by the same men who designed Manhattan's Central Park. The Brooklyn Museum, New York City's second largest art museum, and the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens are also nearby on the northeast corner of the park.
There are plenty of subway lines in this area, including the B/Q (2 blocks), the 2/3/4 (3 blocks) and the D/N/R (6 blocks), making public transit exceptionally convenient.

The location is really nice, a few blocks from Prospect Park, great restaurants and bars, plenty of laundry and grocery options too and the overall community is really nice, a lot of young families who take nice care of the area so it is very pleasant to be located here. |
