Kitchen: Oven-did not work the entire time I was there. Dishwasher-lie Microwave-only after two months

Constant smoking and smell of smoke even though supposed to be non-smoking. Tried to shake me down for more than contracted amount for utilities. Started showing the apartment to other people 6 weeks before I moved out.

Started removing furniture, painting, and doing other work for next tenant 3 weeks before I moved out.

This apartment is very well located, in one of the nicest neighborhoods in Brooklyn, with a lot of restaurants, bars, whatever nearby!

As for the apartment, a good price for your own bed and bathroom! The owner is also very lovely, though the dog can be a real pain in the neck, barking at horrible times!

Overall a good experience, and I'll come back many times to visit my friend/owner over there!

The location is really nice, a few blocks from Prospect Park, great restaurants and bars, plenty of laundry and grocery options too and the overall community is really nice, a lot of young families who take nice care of the area so it is very pleasant to be located here.

The apartment itself is simple and well-maintained with a nice backyard to hang out in. The downstairs doesn't exactly feel like a space you can make use of and enjoy without having to always ask the roommate/owner.

The roommate is very nice but VERY talkative and once they have your ear its hard to get away to do whatever you have to do. There is also a small dog at the apartment that is friendly, but will bark like crazy when you get in during the evenings or if you drop something in your room and takes forever to settle down.

The bedroom is simple and has its own bath which is good and its in the back which is also nice as in the summer it is not very hot and you wake up to birds chirping in the backyard and a nice breeze through the window.

Overall, it was an okay experience, the roommate situation just was not ideal for my preferences.
