My thoughts on the apartment overall was ok, the roommate/owner was attentive in the beginning, towards the end my needs were not met, and I was a little disappointed. I was also unaware that there would be constant relatives/friends frequenting and staying at the apartment without informing me, as a young woman this could especially become uncomfortable when there are male visitors. There were also a few rodents that I informed the owner about and there was a bit of hesitation on their end to rectify the situation, that was completely confusing to me on my end. There was also a heat problem in the apartment, and since the apartment is on the top floor, the heat rises and causes a banging sound, that was also not addressed seeing as though the sounds were extremely loud and kept me up at night.. Lastly, the experience was literally just ok, not sure if the owner should rent again.. Great individual just not super attentive. However, I am thoroughly grateful for the opportunity to call this place home if only for a short period of time, I am and will always remain eternally grateful to NY Habitat and to the owner.. Thanks!

Thank you for the review and the feedback. I would like to address some of it here.

In the beginning, when you first came to see the room I informed you that I have 3 adult children and a sister who are concerned with my well being. Two of my children live out of state and would only visit about 2 or 3 times a year for no more than a few days up to a week at a time. My oldest son and sister live instate and would check up on me occasionally. I'm sorry if this was not clear to you, I will do my best to disclose it to roommates in the future.

I know you had some issues with rodents in your room, but we informed the landlord and he sent out an exterminator and the issue was rectified.

We also reported the heating issue to the landlord who sent out plumbers who replaced the radiator. The issue was resolved and you didn't mention there were any more banging sounds.

I am sorry that you feel that your time here was only OK but I did everything to rectify all your concerns/issues. I hope your new home fits your needs. Thank You...
