The roommates come and go which is not a problem. The so-called cleaning lady comes whenever she has a chance, which it's clearly not often enough. I found several insects in the bathroom. In the kitchen gas stoves don't work properly, you only can use one at a time. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the neighborhood and the well-sized bedroom! |

Thank you Laura for choosing the Brownstone for your stay. As a reminder the unit you rented was a self-maintained unit, which required you and other tenants to clean up after yourselves. The cleaning lady is there to ensure common areas are maintained. During the summer months, the individual responsible for cleaning was inconsistent and thus had to be terminated. The cleaning fee was credited back to you during that time period. |

My roommates were nice, never had any issues, I got along very well with them. The owners were very kind, they always helped whenever I had a problem. |

Thank you Ariane for choosing my home for your stay. This past summer the neighbor had a family member staying that played his music at a very high level. That was never an issue in the past; however, he has since relocated. Additionally, although a historic and beautiful community, Bedford Stuyvesant consists mainly of connected brownstones, which means the risk of unwanted house guests. To alleviate any issues, I have the house exterminated on a regular schedule, and emphasize to tenants that they keep entry ways closed and the kitchen and personal spaces clean. Mice in particular, can run along pipes and also run in your front door. As a mom of a young child, I am always concerned with pests and vermin of any kind and take a siting very, very seriously. I am sorry you felt I was unresponsive to your complaint; however, in addition to stuffing holes, the exterminator laid poison around access areas, in the kitchen and in the basement. He also removed the open food containers and debris from the room. Once a vermin gets in it is very important for tenants to keep their areas clear of used dishes, glasses and food containers to avoid them making a home in your space. |
