Offering sunny accomodations, this apartment is situated on the 4th floor (considered 3rd by Europeans) of a lovely elevator building in Manhattan. The building feartures on-site laundry and an intercom/buzzer system provides guest entry.
This apartment's large bedrooms are both 150 sq. ft. (around 14 m2). There is also a third windowed, sleeping separation to accommodate an extra guest or children’s room. Other highlights of this furnished rental include a well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and a microwave, in addition to the basics. The space features inlaid hardwood floors and classic moldings that reveal the building's prewar roots. There are also windows in every room, including the bathroom.
Hamilton Heights may not be well-known outside of NYC, but it should be! This apartment is found on Riverside Drive and West 157th Street, within the Audubon Historic Section, where you can admire gorgeous architecture and visit the Hudson River in the same day. Columbia University is easily accessible on the nearby 1 train (4 stops) and City College is also nearby (1 stop). Riverbank Park runs along the Hudson and features an Olympic-sized swimming pool, indoor and outdoor basketball and soccer courts and even ice-skating! There is also a Planet Fitness gym just down the street from this apartment (0.2 miles/around 300m). For your shopping needs, Broadway is just a street to the east and has cafes, supermarkets and more! This part of Uptown is still part of the Big Apple and has plenty to offer!
The nearest subway is the 1 train, which makes local stops along Manhattan's West side, including the Lincoln Center, Columbus Circle and more (0.2 mi/around 250 m)! Transfer can easily be made to the express 2 and 3 trains if needed. New York is waiting!

My host was incredibly kind, helpful and communicative. She introduced me to many of her friends straight away, which I appreciated very much and was glad about. This made my stay in NY so much easier and, yes, I also made a genuine friend. I really enjoyed my time at my host's, her apartment and the neighborhood... It was just perfect in every respect. I've no complaints at all... The Italian woman I shared the apartment with was also very nice... I think I was very lucky with my apartment choice. |
