Welcome to Midtown West! These rooms for rent are located at 44th Street and 9th Avenue in a Residence for women only. The building offers 5 different bedroom types along with a laundry facility and a 24 hour doorman as well.

The residence offers 5 different bedroom types ranging from a small room to a large room, as well as a reception area, a shared kitchen, shared bathrooms, and a chapel. Please note that some of the rooms have walls that do not completely reach the ceiling. Each of the rooms available for rent offers the same type of basic furnishings such as a twin bed, a closet or a wardrobe, and a desk. There is a mess hall which has plenty of seating to eat your meals, along with a couple of vending machines. The large kitchen features stainless steel appliances including a large fridge with freezer, oven, microwave, among other necessities. The rooms located in St. Michael’s wing will share the larger bathroom, while the remaining rooms for rent will share the single, smaller bathroom.

Please Note: This is an apartment share. You will have your own private room and share the common spaces such as the kitchen, bathroom, dining area, and the reception area.

The owner provides to tenants: Furnished room: Bed, mattress, mattress cover, chair, desk, dresser, standing lamp and mini refrigerator. Kitchen: large refrigerators, freezers, pantry, bins for food storage.  Study rooms, dining room, exercise room.  Chapel, Private mail boxes, 24 hour security, WiFi on first floor.

The owner DOES NOT supply: Toiletries: Toilet tissue, paper towels,bath towels, cleaning supplies.  Kitchen: Pots, pans, food, dish soap, sponges, cleaning supplies. Room: Blankets, sheets, pillows.

There’s plenty to do and see in Midtown, Manhattan! Walk up 9th avenue and you’ll find plenty of restaurants with flavors from all around the world. Try Turkish Cuisine (500 feet/ 150 meters), City Sandwich for some Portuguese-Italian sandwiches (0.1 miles/ 230 meters), A A Jing (0.2 miles/ 400 meters) for some Pan-Asian cuisine, or iPizza NY (0.1 miles/ 190 meters) for some classic New York Pizza. If those don’t suit your taste buds, don’t worry, there are plenty of other restaurants in the area. With such a large kitchen, perhaps you’ll enjoy making your meals, in that case head to Food Emporium (0.2 miles/ 300 meters) to do some grocery shopping. If you haven’t been to Times Square, be sure to check it out, it’s just a couple of blocks away (0.4 miles/ 650 meters)! There are plenty of theatres in the area, find a Broadway or off-Broadway show you like and enjoy!
