This one bedroom / one bathroom apartment to share is situated on the 4th floor of a postwar building with a full time doorman, on 89th Street in the Upper West Side. There is also internet access in the apartment.
The bedroom is fully furnished with a queen-size bed, a desk, a dresser, a table, a chair and a large closet. The room is air-conditioned. It also has a large window with access to a balcony. The separate eat-in kitchen is standard and fully equipped. There is also a table seating two. The white tiled bathroom comes with a sink, a shower with bathtub, and a toilet. Cable TV service and air-conditioning is available.
The Upper West Side is only a few minutes away from the green shady nooks and the open grassy spaces of Central Park. It offers New Yorkers and visitors the opportunity to stroll and breathe fresh air, away from the hectic hustle and bustle of the streets. Joggers can exercise on the well-known Fred Lebow Running Track, which is located around Central Park's Reservoir. Culture buffs will have difficulty choosing from the endless list of museums dotted along the streets flanking Central Park, and including the American Museum of Natural History. For those who would like to experience New York's nightlife, there are scores of bars and nightclubs that open their doors after dark.
The closest subway stations to the apartment are located just a few blocks away : 1 & 9 Trains on 86th Street and Broadway. Buses ride at regular intervals and New York's famous taxis can be hailed anywhere at any time of the day or night.
