One bedroom / one bathroom apartment to share in Washington Heights on the 1st floor of a prewar building with buzzer/intercom system and laundry facilities. The roommate will have his own bedroom; the tenant will sleep in the living room, which is a separate room. The bathroom and the kitchen are to share.
The bedroom to rent is about 12x12 square feet. It has white walls, hard wood floor, one window, a closet and a jack. This room is furnished with a Queen-size bed, a dresser and a bedside table.
The living room can be share during the daytime. It is equipped with two armchairs, bookshelves, a TV with cable, a VCR and a stereo.
The bathroom to share is standard: sink, shower with bathtub, toilet, storage cabinet and mirrored medicine cabinet.
The kitchen has a window and vinyl floors. It is equipped with a sink, a fridge, a stove, a microwave, a phone and beige storage cabinets.
Neighborhood: this area is residential. You can enjoy a large park a few blocks away and the famous cloister. Supermarkets and delis are located on Broadway. This area is pleasant and close to the middle of Manhattan thanks to the A train (express) located on Broadway and 181st Street.
