Large, bright, fully furnished bedroom in Washington Heights
|
This large three bedroom / two bathroom apartment with two entrances to the building and two entrances to the apartment, is about 2500 square feet. It is located on Haven Avenue and 177th Street in a prewar building facing Hudson River with buzzer/intercom system and laundry facilities in the basement. The whole apartment has wood floors and mostly white walls, entrance and hallway are painted in a gentle pastel green.
You enter the apartment through a large foyer, furnished with computer desk, a chair, a large mirror and two storage cabinets. From this lobby a long carpeted corridor leads to the sleeping area and bathroom.
From the foyer you can enter the first bedroom. This is bedroom 1, with a siiting area separated by a curtain.. It is about 18x14 square feet. It has two windows facing Hudson River, Fort Lee New Jersey and the George Washington Bridge. It is furnished with king size bed, a sofa with end table, an armchair, gliding chair with ottoman, a coffee table, a TV with cable, VCR and a CD/tape stereo.
The next of the rooms, bedroom 2 is about 18x14 square feet. It has two windows facing the Hudson River and a view of the George Washington Bridge. This room has wall-to-wall carpeting in blue, white walls, and a walk in closet with two rods. It is furnished with a full size bed, a bedside table with lamp, twin size sofa bed, 5 cabinets, a vanity with mirror, a desk with lamp, two chairs, a TV with basic cable, a VCR, a refrigerator and framed pictures.
The separate kitchen to share is on the right side of the entrance. It has white vinyl floor. This kitchen has two rooms. The smallest room has a private entrance and is equipped with a fridge, a microwave, cappuccino machine, sandwich toaster and 4 storage cabinets. The largest room has a window and is furnished with a sink, a stove, a large fridge with filter water and ice maker, a washer, a coffee maker, a toaster, blender, juicer, a cutting table, a counter with two stools and many storage cabinets. From the kitchen and foyer you have access to the dining room. It has a window and is furnished with a dining table seating six, two high mirrors, bookcase and storage cabinets.
The white tiled bathroom to share has a window with a view of the GW Bridge. It has a sink, a shower with bathtub with sliding glass door, a toilet, a mirrored medicine cabinet and a storage cabinet with shelves.
Neighborhood: this area is residential. You can enjoy a large park a few blocks away, the famous Cloister and great security from Columbia Medical School and the Presbyterian Hospital a few blocks away. Supermarkets and delis are located on Broadway. This location is really pleasant if you want to live in a peaceful area close to the middle of Manhattan.
Transportation: the express A train on 175th and Fort Washington Avenue, very close to the building. This train leads you downtown in about 20 minutes. The number 1 train is in walking distance. There is also the #4 bus on Fort Washington, the #7 and 100 on Broadway and the express #98 bus to east- midtown.
