Large bedroom to rent in Gramercy Park.

One bedroom / one bathroom apartment to share on the 3rd floor of a postwar building with full time doorman, elevator and laundry facilities located on 19th Street between Second and Third Avenue. The entire apartment is air-conditioned.
When you enter the apartment you can see the kitchen in front of you; it is open to the dining area. On your right a corridor leads to the bedroom for rent. The roommate will have the bedroom on his own and the tenant will sleep in the living room. The tenant has created a separation in the living room. A large entertainment unit makes the living room private. The roommate can go to the kitchen and the bathroom without crossing the living room.
The air-conditioned bedroom to rent is about 20x12 square feet. It has white walls, maroon wall to wall carpeting, white walls, two windows facing 19th Street, a wall of closet and a jack. It is furnished with a queen-size bed, two bedside tables, a lamp, a dresser, an armchair, a large mirror and a TV with cable. The white tiled bathroom to share is just next door to the bedroom. It is equipped with a sink, toilet, shower with bathtub and medicine storage cabinet.
The air-conditioned living room has white walls and blue wall to wall carpeting. It is furnished with a sofa, a sofa bed, a coffee table, an armchair, two lamps, nice framed pictures, a small glass table, a entertainment unit with a TV with cable and a VCR. The dining area has a window, a large rectangular glass table with four chairs and a microwave. The kitchen has vinyl floor and is equipped with a sink, a stove, a fridge, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, a toaster, and many wooden storage cabinets.
This is a lovely neighborhood with Old World charm and a bit of quiet in the big, noisy city. If you go to Irving place you will see several restaurants. Gramercy Park is the only privately owned park in New York City. Just to the south/west is Union Square where farmers come several times a week to sell fresh produce, flowers and baked goods. The East Village and Union Square are walking distance.
Transportation: 6 train on 23rd Street and Lexington Avenue.
