The listing is located on the Upper West Side, in the Riverside/Harlem section of New York. The building is a pre-war, has an elevator and a intercom security system. The apartment is 1500 square feet and is located on the 9th floor. The apartment has lots of old-world details, white walls and hardwood floors throughout. There are also paintings throughout the apartment, providing a home-like atmosphere. Bedroom#1 measures approximately 165 square feet and is furnished with a full size bed, a small table with drawers, another table with drawers and a TV with cable. There is a couch with 3 chairs and two end tables. There is a modular "Ikea" styled closet system and 2 big windows facing the River. Bedroom#2 measures 160 square feet and is furnished with a double size bed, a dresser, a t.v. with cable, 2 nightstands with lamps, a floor lamp and 2 armchairs. There is a custom made bureau with drawers and a custom made tall stand that can be used for shoes or to display pictures etc. In addition there is a large mirror against the wall near a large window. Bedroom #3 measures around 75 square feet and is furnished with a single bed and has a window and A/C unit as well as a TV with cable. This bedroom has private access to the ½ bathroom that has a WC and a sink. The large dining room measures over 200 square feet and is furnished with an elegant, sleek, white, marble-top, dining table with 8 chairs. It also has two windows, a built in heirloom circle mirror, a lamp chandelier, a buffet and hutch ensemble, a double window and a bureau. THERE IS LIMITED USE OF KITCHEN The eat-in-kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, a freezer, a stove, a sink and cabinets. The kitchen has a breakfast bar that looks into the livingroom and a 4 person table set. There is limited use of the kitchen and utensils. In addition, there is a washing machine, 2 lamped chandeliers and a double window. The windowed bathroom for share, has a vanity with sink, a shower/tub and a wall cabinet. The buiding is convenient for Columbia University students and both the 1 and 9 trains at 145th street. The neighborhood is in a place where country estates once stood. These streets are now filled with sturdy art-deco buildings, diverse restaurants and cafes. The Audubon Ballroom Complex at 168th and Broadway is where famed civil rights leader, Malcolm X was assassinated in 1965. The neighborhood also has a rich history from the Revolutionary War. The Morris-Jumel Mansion dates back to 1765, and had as a guest, George Washington the first president of the United States. The closest subway is the 1 train at 145th Street
