This apartment is located on the corner of 34th Street between Second Avenue and Third Avenue.
The building is a simple prewar walk-up construction with white façade, carpet on the floor. It has a security/buzzer system at the entrance. The apartment is on the second floor, facing the street. There are three to four laundry centers within one block.
The bedroom is located at the end of a long hall, measures over 198 square feet and is carpeted. The room has a phone jack for a private phone; it is cable ready and Internet ready. You have 2 large windows that face the street. The 200-foot square area can be divided into the extreme right as your sleeping area and towards the left side your living area. There is a full-sized bed. You have a bookcase, a TV, CD/clock radio and stereo with speakers. It is like your private studio. The cozy kitchen is located right next to the room equipped with refrigerator, freezer, stove and sink. The bathroom is just next entrance door. It has a shower, sink, mirror, and WC.
It is a busy and residential neighborhood with a lot of groceries, supermarkets, and restaurants along 2 Ave. There is a large bookstore and theatre on 28th Street and 2nd Avenue. It is a convenient area, close to Midtown, Grand Central Station and the Empire State Building.
A 5-minute walk from the subway at 33rd Street #6 trains
The M34 cross-town and the M16 buses stop in front of the building
