There are some amazing Korean restaurants on West 32nd Street between 5th Avenue and 6th Avenue. Moreover, you will find many great shops all along 5th Avenue and Madison Avenue. If you walk 5 blocks north from the apartment on 5th Avenue, you will come across the New York Public Library and Bryant Park, where you can enjoy some peace and quiet after spending the day in bustling Midtown. The Empire State Building is just 2 blocks away, and the Macy's flagship department store is one block west from here on Herald Square. 34 Street / 6 Avenue: Herald Square is a main subway station where you can access the B, D, F, M, N, Q and R lines. Alternatively, you can also walk about 5 blocks southeast to 33 Street / Park Avenue South station and catch the 6 train to explore other New York neighborhoods. Otherwise, you can go a bit further to the 42 Street / Lexington Avenue: Grand Central station, and take the 4, 5, 6, 7, and S trains.
